Excellent cover. Loved this. Singer was on point, especially for a son with a wide range of tricky vocals. Loved the female support vocals. The whole band killed it. Well done, this is a great bluegrass interpretation.

The band is an ensemble of John Frazier (vocals/mandonlin) , Rebecca Frazier (guitar/vocals), Chris Pandolfi (banjo), Travis Book (bass) for anyone's that curious. Beautiful song, I can't stop listening to it.

Totally agree. Iron Horse do it superbly. Their rendition of Elton Johns rocket man smashes the original out the water! 💣

Agreed. If it's a good song, it'll hold up as a bluegrass song. There's no manicuring a bad song in bluegrass.

Me too I discovered stuff like this when I saw an album of bluegrass covers of Van Halen songs & David Lee Roth even sang 2 of them

I wish I could get more of this band, I missed the progression of the mandolin player sub vocals, from piss weak snare drums.

Total mandolin, guitar, and string bass going on there. Aside from banjo sweeping here and there.

Blue grass needs a southern accent that sings, otherwise its just posers.

Connie Patterson hi there!
@rorybristol83074 жыл бұрын
I think it's adorable that you think this isn't Southern. There are like 9 million kinds of Southern accents because, well, so many communities are isolated from each other. Plenty of Southern people sound less like Hollywood's ideal of Southern and more like what Hollywood would have us believe is unique to other parts of the country.
