Takeover Magic is OP. Mirajane is a HEAVY hitter but gets underused as an S Class Wizard. Also Elfman should be pushed more as a Heavy Hitter too and use more forms from the animal Mammal Kingdom😂 like a Rhinoman, Lionman, etc

She’s underutilized despite her huge potential and I was tired of waiting for her moment. And they always use the excuse that her magic power drains too quickly which is ridiculous considering she has been training more recently. I switched to reading boruto tbv. I’m a fan of Hinata and Himawari and she’s having a spotlight right now. Hoping that she can showcase some hidden hyuga powers that we haven’t seen before.

@@TorishKellingtonthen you sort of missed the point :/ I mean. She doesn’t overcome her trauma until Battle of Fairy Tail and Team Natsu is really the only focused Team. Hence to send to Nirvana. Especially since all the story beats have connection to Team Natsu in some sort of way. Then it’s Edolas where she’s grieving because Lisanna is dead. Then it’s Tenrou. Then timeskip to where the story follows Lucy because of Michelle. Gmg. Tartaros. Then it’s the time skip and the end. Even then. Alvarez was basically Natsu’s backstory due to his ties with Zeref being E.N.D. As well as tying up loose ends with Acnologia. This is also a weekly series whereas Boruto has a month inbetween. Not to mention Twin Vortex had like. around a 4 month hiatus. I mean yeah Himawari is relevant now. Only because of the current threat :/ after its done she’s going back on the back burner because regardless. The series is about Boruto, Kawaki, Eida, and Sarada to some extent. I mean they’re not gonna replace Mitsuki with her. She’s having her one moment because before that she was literally helpless. mira’s obstacle wasnt being ‘useless’ it was her retiring due to trauma and that was all the story she had. And. It wasn’t that deep to write an entire arc about. She overcame the issues she had being treated like a demon.

And that's the problem, himawari got the spotlight like she deserved right now, just like how mirajane deserves to have her own spotlight during tartaros arc. I mean look at her battle between Seilah, it looks so rushed. I mean she did got a spotlight, but they did her dirty during that battle. Mira as someone who used to takeover demons would have played a much bigger role in tartaros arc.

Mirajane is so underused in the manga. I wish she was given more screentime because of how cool her power is. All the other S Class Wizards in fairy tail including the weaker former S Class Juvia got more exploration of their powers

It’s probably because Mirajane doesn’t have a place in the overall story since “Team Natsu” was formed in the first 10 episodes. Juvia gets involved because of Gray who was sorta “forced” to be in a Team with Natsu, Lucy, and Erza. Gajeel often shows up because of something to deal with Natsu. Laxus. Well. He is a whole messy bag. But both him and Gajeel are also those who have had to atone for their past actions so their moments are used as a means to show growth of surpassing how they used to be. I mean Mira had a “rivalry” with Jenny but the Mira “now” isnt as competitive as she was prior to Lisanna’s death. While you could argue it should have been written like MHA. The biggest problem is the “greatest” thing about MHA in that being it gets crowded the more other characters you try to shove in.

Erza is relevant because she’s the one that said she needed Natsu and Gray’s help *dragging Lucy with them* and well. Gildarts is off taking 2 months to do a job. Sometimes 2 years. And honestly she WAS utilizes when Tartaros started. But it was just that prior. The story was really mostly around Team Natsu because of how plot focused the story came to be. Then after it was a time skip. Then Avatar. Then the Alvarez war. By the time she “could” have been utilized there wasnt time to just cram her in a story. I mean she was there to help free Lucy and Yukino. Even took part as Fairy Tail team B. It’s just by the time she overcomes her trauma - battle of fairy tail - we’re in Nirvana, then Edolas where it’s the day Lisanna died, Tenrou. Then time skip. Etc.

I always assumed that Lissana's Mermaid form was just her partial fish form, same with her Harpy, Cat-girl, Snake-girl and Nine-Tailed Fox. Just her transforming partially into her forms.

@@Lupinemancer87 because you said lisanna is “just transforming partially” i which some cases aren’t. unlike how elfman who used to do partial take over. lisanna and mira can take over traits and not using just a form. example: nine-fox have shinto dress, which might not a physical part of the nine-tail fox, same with her cat girl. she transforms with different clothing unlike her harpy and rabbit transformation.

This got pointed out to me but I made a mistake in the God Soul section of the video. Here’s the correction: God takeover isn't the same as the other take over magic. It doesn't grant the user power and form of a God. They become a vessel for the God. As Chronos possess Dimaria. Also, Dimaria didn't beat a God of time to get this ability. She is a descendent of the people who worshiped Chronos, allowing her to become one. Sorry about this I’ll try to be more careful. And if I make more mistakes or made mistakes in past videos please feel free to correct me so I can try and correct myself

I don't know if take over: machina soul is requip with extra steps. I theorize that it's an alternative to requip. If Erza who has requip gets her armor or weapons get broken or destroyed they are gone and she'll have to replace them with something that has been crafted. while take over: machina soul gives you only a few select sets, but you can "equip" it an infinite number of times so long as you have magic and is never truly lost. essentially you would be trading versatility for convienence.

I don't think it's Requip with extra steps, because they're foundationally different. Requip: The Knight is all about armours, swords, and martial weapons. Take Over: Machina Soul is about futuristic machines and actually becoming them for a period of time.

Elfman isn’t weak. Don’t forget he was one of Fairy Tail’s main fighters in the early series and he was an S Class candidate which puts him on the same tier as Cana, Levy, and Freed. More than anything he suffers from the same issue that a lot of the main cast do, which was lack of focus in the second half of the series.

Well. When you figure that the plot moves around team Natsu it isn’t hard to see why. The idea being because Lucy was the new girl getting thrown into the world of wizards. Also for a majority elfman is on his own probably unless lisanna formed a small team with him. Mira was/is “retired”. Natsu was the first person Lucy met. Then Gray and Erza lumped into a team because she recognized them as sorta the “strongest” outside of the other s-class wizards. So it became a staple. Juvia gets involved because of Gray. And half the time Gajeel because of Natsu unless he’s partnered with Levy.

Like Lisanas Cat form the most. But, from the take over are probably Satan soul and Machine soul the best. God soul can be more powerfull. But its probably rare to find a god and even harder to obtain its power. Demons by the other hand are more common (like the island of demons, where Lucy obtained Sagitarus) and powerfull at the same time. I dont know much, how Maschine soul would obtain new stuff (whe doesnt saw many machines in the show). But the existence of machine itself shows, that this stil will become strongest over time (i think Mashima stated, that she is able to summon parts of maschines at her body, what make her practicly to iron men). The other soul would have it easier to find new stuff. But it looks like, that they are bound to physicaly attacks. While the others give magic attacks to
