我想捷運😭我在台灣兩個月,可是三個月前我從太美到美國回來了 The MRT there was my favorite thing 😭 it’s so clean, quiet, and easy to navigate. I still think about it all the time.

Welcom back, Miss Lin. I was wondering if you could do a video on the tone rules for the character “一”. Sometimes there's a tone change depending on what tone the following character is, and I've also noticed that some natives omit a tone change. I find it quite confusing. Examples: “一杯,一張,一碗,etc..
Thank you so much! It was really useful since I'm going to Taipei in January and I will have to take the metro from the airport. The escalators way of descending (right if you are not in a hurry, left if you need to rush) is very British. When I lived in London, everyone would do this. In Italy...well, I don't have the underground where I live, however, in other cities I think it's quite rare that someone would stay on the right to let people go down quickly 😅

Oh I forgot to ask you. Is mask still mandatory in Taiwan? I saw that everyone is wearing it in the metro. Just to know if I need to buy one to use there 🙂

I still have my EasyCard from last year's trip to Taiwan. It had a drawing print of Taiwanese objects and the word "Taiwan" on it. I wish to use it again... Very convinient and even more so when I realised I could use it on Taichung's bus for free.
@MandarinWithMissLinАй бұрын
Oh great! It’s still free, I think they make it free because Taichung government wants to promote public transport’s:)
@Tyranitar66501Ай бұрын
@@MandarinWithMissLin Which is a good thing which I will take compared to Taichung's pretty barebones MRT system.
