The UConn football team hasn't had a winning record since 2010. In fact they have only won 30 games since then. There to support them every game no matter what is the UConn Marching Band. While the team struggles, the band has flourished and grown to over 300 members strong. Preparations for the first game are underway with a special halftime show honoring Marjory Stoneman Douglas student Alex Schachter, who was killed in the school shooting on Valentine's Day in 2018. The College Marching team joins the UConn Band for rehearsal and the game in this first episode of the documentary series, "TAKE THE FIELD: The College Marching Experience".

That was so nice that UCoon was able to pay tribute to Alex after they learned he passed away and they just keep Alex in their hearts that he wi never be forgotten, this was so wonderful and Alex’s family I prey that you guys are well including his friends and people who care about him. This is so awesome! I absolutely love that band kids are looked as rock stars now and not social outcast! I was a band student in highschool and college in the 90s . Also way to go UConn for y'all's tribute to a kid who all he wanted to do was March in your band! Much respect!

Wow try THE MARCHING SOUTHERNERS. JACKSONVILLE STATE UNIVERSITY.This band is awsome.you'll enjoy their back story and it's 5 hundred strong they just got back from Italy.they are a really large historic family many successful music loving folk.
