You could also put the dimensionals on the front like you did and taper the plane by glueing the back of the plane directly. That way it will look like it’s flying off the cardstock.

Love how the embellishments are placed to keep the card closed. Saves making a belly band. I made Christmas gift card holders with a decorative belly band once, and one of the (adult) recipients didn't know how to take it off, so just ripped the band off. 😥
