Using only 4 tanks last three yrsl. Tier 5-8 tanks. No pay. Having a blast with game. Since only using 4 tanks have everything on them. 123% crew, all purple equipment and always running food. I suggest just use a few you like and build them into premium monsters. Try it you'll like it !

yep after 12 years of this game i have settled into playing old favorites from every teir .. the only tier that is fully stupid broken garbage is the teir 10's get to teir 10 go back and grind again. is all i got from getting a teir 10.. lost credits more frustrating and annoying gameplay. whys my teir 5 survive over 5 hits when teir 10s can only survuve 3 hits.. first hit manditory ammo rack or fuel tank damage second hit your onfire or ammo racked in a huge explosion. 3rd hit generally finished off any teir 10. they seem Weaker the guns seem Crappier the armor is fully useless at teir 10 its a waste of time to play teir 10 its a go back to start do not collect 200$ a jail card a sorry back to start they are pointless. only exist to build stress and loathing in the player base. lol

My favorite T6: M6, T150, KV2, Hellcat, WZ-131G FT, T34-85M, T37. Favorite T7: T29, Challenger, Chi-To SP. Only when I'm done with the multipliers and if I still want to play, I will go to my T9: T95, Tortoise, Char Futur 4, Cobra (which I may sell). Then, only when I've done the multipliers for all these, I go to T8 (Even 90, 12t, Lowe, T26E4 and T-34-2). or T10 (generally arties and scouts). Over the last 3 years, I must have sold about 30 tanks, mostly T10 to finance my T6 and T7 tank battles with top consumables and equipment. Today I care only about MOE. Too many clueless muppets in premiums who don't understand the maps, the tanks, the strategies... Waste of "team" building effort to win battles.

Claus, you keep talking about the benefits of field mods. But, how do you know what to pick?? Maybe we need a series on that question. For example, on a TD where you are trying to improve aiming, how do you know whether to pick -3% to aiming circle vs. -5% to aiming speed. Or, on a TD, how do you know whether to pick +6% to concealment after firing vs. -2% to view range.

Had a T-59 back in the wolf pack days, (Daze) Best fun I ever had, At the start of the games, the plt invites with the other wolves, and then run as a pack and grief everything and anything you ran into. Best screen shot was 3 wolves in the enemies' circle claiming the win.

I really don't mind playing at a disadvantage if I'm rewarded for it. The problem is that I'm not. I've had plenty of matches where I kill 3+ tier 8s in a tier 6 because they're all stupid. In matches like that I should be receiving credits in the millions and xp in the 10s of thousands. If you're gonna make me suffer I should at least be compensated when I persevere.

I'm an OG M48 Patton user. Back when you had to play a tank in tier 10 with sub-200 pen until you unlocked the top gun. It was horrendous and absolute BS.

I use frontline to fully upgrade the field mods, using all the bonus multipliers. You earn a fortune and get fully upgraded tanks quickly.

Good points, I want to make the tanks that I play the best they can be, so instead of buying and collecting every tank in the game just focus on a few of the tech tree lines and get the best crews, equipment, mods and consumables for them, i've researched and added the modifications to my tier 6 premium tank and its like playing a different tank so much better

The T110e5 Don't have a Field Mod for engine power it has 1 for a flat +2 to reverse speed, It has one to + 7% crossing all terrain types ( but it makes Very little to No difference on speed ) in the 10 or so live tests I've seen on different tank in soft, hard, uphill, down hill etc. so not sure how he could of out run ya like you describe ? All other things being even IE Crew, Equipment, Directives.. maybe he had a purple/Bond turbo with a turbo directive ? *shrug* sorry just trying to figure it out..

Module damage and crew injuries are also manipulated in the random games. Especially early and late in the game, you seem to have a higher chance of getting screwed. Early because you don't want to play an entire game with damaged stuff, and late because you want the last stand/mop up damage. Spend those credits....

Playing WoT is a strange combination of comedy and frustration all built into one gaming experience. No wonder then that I suck in my Leopard 1. I am not even to level 1 with my field mods. And I cannot afford to grind XP in it all the time because I am a F2P player, so most of my games are in premium vehicles that I bought years ago when I still believed in the supposed fairness of the game.

Maybe I should be a cc. I don't use premium, reward, or bond tanks. I carry few premium shells. I don't use premium consumables (food, CVS, special fuel, etc.) I play on hard mode.

If you want to dig more into this, it will blow up your mind and if you don't believe me, just try it yourself: do you know how WOT simulates your tank is bad when stock ? Well it's simple, they just rig your mm and match you with other stock tank players or very bad players so your win rate is 20-30% at best until you fully grind your modules. Every defeat is 3-15 and you will grind the XP needed 2-3 times slower than on your normal rate. Happened to me with every single tank i grinded. Yes, your tank IS worse but that can never turn your average 50% win rate into 20% win rate. You drowning yourself 100 games won't get you to 20% win rate. Oh, and if you don't like it, you can buy gold, turn it into free XP, elite your tank and use that to avoid the rigged mm.
