If you have nothing to bounce the light, you can always go wireless and remove the flash off the camera and hold it at 45degrees with one hand and take a photo with the other. This works and is better than straight on flash!

Nice tutorial! In case anyone is still confused, I always do: Method 1: shutter speed: 1/200, match your ISO and flash power, adjust aperture to your liking. Method 2: I start my my shutter at 1/200, aperture at f/4, ISO at 400, and flash at 1/16. Too dark? Raise your ISO to 800. Cheers!

I´m very much an amateur photographer, but I managed to get some great shots at a family baptism party by bouncing the flash off the walls and ceiling. I've got a Godox V860II, which I bought for macro photography. It also has a rechargeable battery that lasts for ages. It came in really handy when I was press-ganged into doing the baptism, as they didn't want to pay for a professional photographer.

You welcome and thank you for letting me know! Flash is hard to make it look natural since it is unnatural light but you can still make it look nice and most of my photos are with the flash.
