Thanks for posting this video Derek! I'm wondering what he meant by firing the bowl on "posts" (if I heard right). Was he referring to glazing the whole outside and then firing it on stilts? I'm hoping these comments still reach you. Thanks.

I couldn't find the moment you mention, but Takeshi has many unique firing techniques, and he often uses posts/stilts to prop the work off of the kiln shelf, sometimes even firing work upside down! You can see more techniques in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bHy2XpV_hbxmgJY
