For the knowledge of a new some to the cosmic space. 1 year is very different from 1 light year. The term year is only relevant to the time on earth that earth takes to complete one circle around the Sun. While the term Light year is the measure of distance that the light travels in one year with a speed of 186000 miles per second. Now you can calculate that 14 Billion old universe or multiverse stretches around 92 Billions light years across as of now: it’s still expanding every moment.

I really appreciate the efforts you put in to explain the balloon analogy, at the same time there is a confusion when you inflate the balloon spots goes far from each other but same time we observe these spots are getting bigger & bigger but in real world we observe this is not happening matter is remaining in the same volume, why? is it due to gravity?? 1. In the beginningThere was an empty space and a compressed object. 2. The compressed object blasted and it is called Big Bang theory 3. Since that time all the parts of that compressed objects have been spreading in all directions. 4. The parts which are near each other and going in same direction are still near to each other relatively but they are going far to other parts those are going in another direction or in opposite direction. Sir my question? What is the meaning of space expension because in starting it was and huge empty space? According to me parts (stars, sun, moon, galaxy) spreading in all direction after Big Bang but not the empty space
