Taking a Break

Hi crafty friends!! I'm on a short hiatus until I'm all healed from my latest surgery. I gotta take care of my health first so that I can keep creating new content. But I will be back posting new videos in no time. Feel free to leave me questions and/or comments and I will respond as soon as I can. I'm about a month behind on replying, but I'm hoping to catch up this weekend, depending on my energy level. I can't wait to start creating again!!

You could get showers??? I had a 13" incision so no showers most of those 6 months either. Count your blessings.

@@terripennington9934 Oh NOOOOO!!! They've cut me from bikini line to breast bone before, but this time was only about a 6" incision. But even with my bigger one, they've always just told me to let the water run down my stomach and then bandage it back up after the shower. I would lose my mind without a shower. That's crazy!! Even when they had to open me back up and let me heal open with a wound vac, I still got to shower. It's so crazy how different doctors do different things. Mine have all been on my stomach, where was your incision? Maybe that has something to do with it too? I don't know... Oh, I feel for ya though. That's brutal!!! Bet you're glad you're past that, huh?

@@MistyElam Yes, some. Had a lot of other things on the go and I want to redo my room. Hard with it being just me and having to deal with my son's dog then my own dog as well, even though my dog is good and out of the puppy stage, the other ones and so it goes. lol

@@brendalawrence6732 I totally understand. My husband thought it would be a good idea to bring a new puppy home right in the middle of dealing with all my health issues. And it's not a small puppy!! She's a hellion!!! She's pretty stinking cute though, but we did NOT need another dog. Now I'm the one home with her all day while he's at work and my kid is in school! She's ruined one of our screen doors, she's digging up the front yard, she's ruined my son's shoes, tried eating a pair of my Ugg boots. I just about had a heart attack on that one. Not what I needed right now, that's for sure. So I totally get the puppy stage. I can't even take mine for walks yet because she doesn't have all her parvo shots yet, so she's just FULL of energy!!! Runs around like a psycho most of the day. AAAAHHHH!!! She's german shepherd and catahoula... I almost want to go BACK to the hospital. just kidding, I take that out. LOL

Too late!! I think that's what landed me back in the hospital for another week. I have a hard time just sitting and doing nothing. But then my incision started opening back up and put me back in the hospital so I'm learning quickly that when they say not to do anything for a month, they actually mean it!! LOL

Thank you, Belinda. I'm not one to sit around and "heal" and I think that's what aided my complications. I didn't think I was doing all that much, but my entire incision started opening back up!! Put me back in the hospital for yet another week. So now I am taking it easy. Lesson learned!! =)
