I don't mind paying a small tax, along with the rest of Maricopa residents, to keep our freeways safe and running. @Bradley-Thomsen the only ones who would argue that point are either uneducated on the subject or are encouraging corporations to continue to take from the citizens. We pay these corporations with tax breaks and subsidies. Corporations don't make record profits from giving back to the community. They corrupt governments to bend laws in their favor. 37% is mass transit, 40% is highways, and 23% is road improvements is what the video said. Not saying your overall point is wrong though - public transit in a spread out city like PHX or Houston is much different than NYC or even Seattle.

Part of what i have noticed, living in various states, is traffic.. Ill make reference to the new Jersey turnpike.. The NJTP, has two functions, that the 10 doesnt have.. "Through lanes".. the NJTP has dedicated through lanes for truckers and interstate travel, which does relieve some congestion for working commuters, or local traffic means.. Something the 10 lacks, which causes some major traffic clogs , from CA, to NM, through Phoenix. The other thing i noticed, is cross valley travel.. E W travel (when not near the loops) is basically traffic lights.. or highway congestion. 😢

I would much rather see less regressive taxation. Meaning taxes that don't hit working Arizonas in the pocketbook and instead go after the upper class who can afford this. We just gave out a huge subsidy to the richest Arizonans with that school voucher program. 90% of that went to rich people who are already sending their kids to private schools. Instead of taxing my groceries how about we do away with that stupid voucher program first

@jeremygregorio7472Ай бұрын
@@andyroo9381 That's not how it works. The governor can't impose taxes all they can do is wait for the legislature to do that.
