I'm kinda bothered by the fact that Alot of the all stars are so same-y I'm surprised you didn't mention the fact that when he lands critical hits, his dps becomes higher than other all stars. It makes sense, because baseballs are excruciatingly painful if they hit your head.

i used to not like baseball star due to how fast his weapon overheated, just kinda made me feel iffy about using him, but ever since lt dark ring's video on him, ive decided to give him another shot, and now he's one of my favorite all-stars, right up there with hockey, cricket, and golf

I know some of you may say that he has a shorter duration and can overheat easily but here's how I can make my baseball star very mobile without having to have my baseball Cannon leaving me vulnerable, after when I reached to Super Elite I had my hands on both overheat and overheat penalty upgrades, once I use those I realize how good it was because having both of the upgrades means that you'll have an extra duration of Fire and you'll decrease the overheat penalty so that way you can use your baseball Cannon as frequently, and using the damage upgrade is essential to due to the high rate of fire and damage that the baseball has, it means you could take down plants faster with him with the help of the upgrades that I pointed out, I know he may be designed to be like a defender class or some such, but the way I put out the upgrades on baseball star I rather think of him as an offensive All Star because I can take down plant bosses easier with him, but even if I did want him to be a more defensive character I would have had gone with the health upgrade, Health regeneration, and health regeneration delay, how I chose this is another explanation, with the health upgrade being in your favor means that you'll have an extra 10 Health in your 200 Health points, as for both the health regeneration and health regeneration delay, mean that you'll recover your health much quicker when you take cover and then you could get back into action at full health

Is it just me or does he have much more of an arc compared to in GW1? On that game he’s basically an upgrade to Hockey Star which kind of makes sense given he’s the Level 10 variant (doesn’t explain Toxic Chomper though when Fire Chomper is just a standard pack character). However in GW2 he feels much more awkward to use outside of close range, and of course they buffed Hockey Star to the moon to the point he’s basically the reverse Electro Citron. Still, Baseball Star is pretty salvageable, specifically for having the best DPS and overheat penalty in the class

@@InsertFunnyThingHere yeah, his overheat time is absolute garbage on GW1, made even worse by the fact there's a glitch where if you keep the trigger held down he will overheat twice as quick the second time around (I did a video about it earlier this year). His high damage was pretty much meaningless given he could barely get kills; Baseball Star also has a quick overheat time but at least he has the shortest penalty. Then on GW2 they improved Hockey's overheat massively.

@@InsertFunnyThingHere The only other difference I can think of is that Goalie Star could shoot for an insanely long time before overheating on GW1 (once I shot for about 20 seconds straight), they reduced it on GW2 but he still has the longest time before overheating. Cricket Star is also less powerful on GW2 but he got indirectly nerfed due to the fire meta being less powerful (due to full health regen, less ticks, healing cancelling out fire etc.)

Idk where you could find this as a statistic, but something that holds baseball star back for me personally is something about him makes him feel really awkward to aim. The only idea I've had is maybe the projectile of baseball is smaller than stock? But I have no way to confirm this Theory.

You forgot that baseball gets a 1.2x dmg multiplier and that reg has a 1.1x crit multiplier compared to baseballs 1.2x crit multiplier. Baseball gets like 101 dps from this. Because you don't use Upgrades in this video like dmg, this compare is off then.

Wrestling Star is pretty good close up, but then again Hockey and Baseball do that better. Moto has a weird glitch where if you shoot at the enemy's feet it does more damage, but his gimmick is kind of useless when Goalie exists. I think Tennis is the worst, ever since he got nerfed he's basically a worse Reg who moves slightly quicker, but for some reason Moto moves faster than Tennis.

@@noahstarves so heat per bullet is pretty self explanatory. It means how much heat is generated per bullet until the weapon eventually overheats.

So if baseball star were to fire non-stop, it would be able to shoot theoretically 12 bullets before overheat if we don’t include passive cooling of the weapon.

Heat loss per second subtracts from the heat. So, say for baseball star, you shot 10 bullets in a second. If you didn’t include the heat loss per second you would be at 0.80 heat. If you included the heat loss per second yo would’ve actually generated 0.20 heat.
