Butcher sells 50 Shrapnel at a time for 2500RU (Normally 5000RU). Pretty cheap for how OP it is, kills Stalkers pretty well too .. unlike Buckshot. He also sells some .357 for half price as well

Congrats on 10k!!! Some pro tips I would like to share: - Buy cheap ammo from butcher and convert it - A loaded grenade in the launcher sometimes disappear, so it might run out if you keep it loaded - The random escort mission is literally a slave contract, there are no penalties for failing, and they follow you until they die -Gadgets like artifacts and pelts are very powerful. that's why people like the SEVA suits, they have a large belt slot. Wrenched or empty is both easy to make & very powerful. Maybe you should fix the ecologist suit and go artifact hunting! + oh and the exo is bad. Remember, it uses batteries.

M4 is a great early-mid game gun because of the M203... a little side note be careful with old M203 and Voz grenades as I have had them just suddenly fire without me pressing the trigger... and it's a great way to clear a room... as to the X18 suit you have it is basically a light armour with an exoskeleton added to it the only advantage it has is the carry weight outside of that it is a pretty poor armour... congrats on the 10k subs...

congrats on the 10k milestone! i dont remember at how many you were when i subscribed to your channel, it was after the first video i watched "this is GAMMA" from about a year ago. for watching GAMMA content at that time i was actively looking for "small" channels that didnt have too many subscribers yet, because i like when content is presented in a more raw, authentic and down to earth manner, not like by many professional creators who have been doing this for years where its all streamlined and polished to soulless perfection. i mean this as an honest compliment, kind of like pretentious michelin star cuisine vs. a lovingly prepared homecooked meal that warms your heart. anyway, its been great to be along for the ride and ill keep coming back for more. some thoughts about the actual video: 1. that exosuit is trash, only good for hauling a ton of stuff but nothing else, bad protection levels. you cant repair it anyway because it needs exo-kit which recipe only drops from very high level stalkers and also requires expert tools to be crafted. by the time you get those youll already have found something way better. 2. explosives are the best way to deal with pseudogiants, seeing the video title i thought "finally our boy has come to his senses" as i fully expected you to nail the burer and giant with m203 grenades which would have been absolutely perfect. a true qloud moment to be sure, but at least you explained your reasoning in the end. but dont worry, those grenades fly pretty straight from center of the screen, theres not much drop until medium-ish distance so just point and click. 3. i highly recommend keeping the most expensive mutant parts in your stash for the recurring fetch tasks: controller/burer brains and hands, pseudogiant arms and eyes, chimera hearts and horns. i understand its tempting to just sell them, especially when youre in a pinch and low on cash, but the cash reward for turning those in is so much more higher, as you have seen with that single giant eye for almost 15k. it will literally pay off to be a little more patient with those parts. sorry for the wall of text, but i thought a 10k vid deserved more than just a casual line or two.

the X18 is just a light suit with an exoskeleton strapped to it. On its own it isnt great, and by the time you could repair it there are just better options available. I've managed to make one work, by using all belt slots and using artefacts to bulk its defences but it isnt really worth it. I Hope in the future GAMMA makes these only take a heavy repair kits and give them unique stats like reduced battery consumption or increased sprint speed with the upgrade to make them (while very situational) useful in some regard

Congrats on your 10k milestone, only recently started watching your content (since part 1 of this playthrough) and also you're the reason i started playing Anomaly (i know GAMMA is its own beast but i gotta start somewhere. I suggest watching @Blondiefire video guide about the basics of Stalker Anomaly, most of which will apply to Gamma as well ...with few exceptions. The video itself is 1hour and 50minutes long with time stamp in the description , so take your time give it a look and you may have a better understanding of Stalker mechanics, features and such.is a very comprehensive guide , very detailed . Loving the playthrough so far, would recommend tweaking some loot drop settings like ammo count to make it a bit more reasonable as I do not believe seasoned stalkers would run around with only 5-20 extra bullets in their pack, maybe tweak the stash percentage chances for misc stuff and repair kits as those were all turned off as default for me, what psycho only stashes some random broken garbage, some gun parts and a sausage anyway. I'd advise against buying ammo to disassemble it as it is extremely cost inefficient, the exo you picked up is garbage the only thing you might use it for is the belt slots, the exo's also eat batteries so I wouldn't even bother with them unless its a UNISG Nosorog. Also you make me nervous every time you say that you should have enough ammo and not a single type is over 250, I usually don't leave the area I have my stash in without at least 800+ AR rounds, 300+ shotgun shells, 400+ sniper rounds or 1200+ SMG rounds whichever I'm carrying, then again I don't usually go back to my stash until I'm fully loaded on loot so bringing that amount is usually warranted.

looks cool and sounds cool as shit. The problem is the aiming modeling/animation/wathever with the grenade launchers in this game. Its really weird. With some weapons, there is no aiming post, with others the aiming post isn't correctly aligned with the point of impact. Few weapons have a GL that works OK in terms of aiming. The best one I found was the GL on the AK-12 Monolith v2.0. Its almost like a sniper... hahahaha...

from what i understand of green stash spawning, is that it's not about aquired stashes but simply completed quests. after 8 quests your next stash reveived from a quest reward will be green, even if you didn't get any stashes from the first 7 quests. this is why it's so much harder for UNISG to get them, you get a lot of stashes from corpses but that doesn't influence it at all

A great source of food I find is cooking boar chops or flesh bacon in a multi-fuel stove using putinka vodka (2 meat for 1 use of the vodka). It gives no additional radiation (like the ones you have), and are an extremely good source of long-lasting sprint addition and weight carrying buffs. I like to pack at least 2-3 and eat one before going on missions so I never get weighed down by hauling loot while travelling long distances (great if I have no companion) They're a stalker's best meal, from early game and into late game. Multi-fuel stoves cost around 9-15k I find depending on your progression difficulty. Different mutant meat gives different buffs, too.

Hi, Using the crosshair...you can aim with the grenade launcher, almost perfectly just one inch higher of the crosshair to hit the target. Old M203 for me ain't working, I cannot load them on the launcher; the SIG 550 Arrow can use the VOG25...and even tough is much better to take out exo dudes ...aiming is not easy, the crosshair would blne be sufficient. I would never consider using that kind of Exo ...is trash... you're better off with an Hybrid suit, cause it gives 5slots from the get go and and is slightly worse than an ExoSuit..but offer 3 more slot...and you can find the hybrid only from white stashes above Garbage.

It's worth noting that Burers can neither catch nor throw rifle grenades. Sweet revenge. Additionally, if you like the zombified stalkers, you can adjust the way emissions work in the base anomaly settings - including the consequences for being caught in one. Change it to "stalkers zombified" and you'll start seeing them more often :)

33:16 It sucks big balls! Even if you consider using it for its carry weight capacity, you would still have to strugle with the high battery usage, and batteries are expensive. If it is not a Nosorog or a normal Exoskeleton, forget it. Take them only for the parts (if in good condition). And, to be honest, I even don't think that the Nosorogs are that much of a big deal any more. Now that the EPSU doesn't have the auto recharge capability any more, it's kind of a hassle having to keep recharging the thing every few runs you make. Now i'm rocking a normal exosuit (non powered one) and I'm finding it quite satisfying. No need to recharge battery, it has decent protection without turning you into a walking tank, which makes the gunfights quite enjoyable because of the right amount of challenge, not too easy, not too hard.

Nimble can upgrade your desert eagle for you. You should start crafting your own meds, it's much cheaper and you can stock up on a huge supply of ibuprofen. I be running around with enough ibuprofen to have the hat man as a companion.

I went 13 hours on a playthrough just farming + buying stash locations as a loner before getting the ammo tools in cordon/garbage. With an ultimate AI mod and no armor it fucking sucked. Good shit on the gunsmithing tools.

If you're down for it I recently downloaded the "Stalkers drop more ammo" and "Weightless ammo" mods, so that I can actually use the guns I take my time to fix. Obviously it's up to you, as it makes it so there is one less thing to worry about, but if you're goal is more struggle to overcome then you do you. I've been having a ton of fun using my favorite guns more though.

Guns in this game have mild bullet drop, I believe the exo zombified took so many shots because you shot slightly too low for headshots. That might also be the reason the sniper rifle felt unreliable at range despite high accuracy stat

Most of the exosuits defnitely don't seem worth it. The good ones are exceedingly rare, and the common ones have next to no protection on them. Not to mention they weigh A LOT, so the increased carrying capacity is eaten up by the suit itself.

Desert Eagle is my go-to mutant gun. You can turn your useless pistol ammo into .357 and keep it well fed. One of the desert eagles will even allow scope/site attachment (edit: I see yours can but not the picatinny rail). I originally had a simple red dot site on my deagle but believe it or not, I now use an ACOG on it. The zoom is not too much and the deagle is accurate enough to use a magnified scope (at least in my version of stalker gamma that predates 0.9).

I tried to use it as my main mutant killer for a while, but didn't like the experience. It's recoil is too big and the rate fire is too slow. These characteristics, coupled with the small magazine size makes the gun not "ideal" to deal with fast moving targets (which the majority of the mutants in this game are), IMO. In Outskirts, for example, where is now common to be surrounded by 4+ chimeras at the same time, having a gun like that make the encounter quite the ordeal.

@@jhonrock2386 I do admit that I have a RAPTR as my "oh shit, there is too many" gun.. but if there is only 2 or maybe 3 mutants (excluding pseudo giants and chimeras) I can generally rely on it, especially if they are running straight toward you. Having a ACOG on it also really extended its engagement range eg. 1 shot a snork 50m away if you can time it right. I am glad everyone doesn't love the same weapons though 😉

Zombiefied Stalkers faction is turned off by default, thats why that tunel in Yantar, Zombie Barrier raid and I think Stich zombie defense in Afterglow are the only times you see them. You can enable them in ZCP>Stalkers, then they will show up everywhere.

Zombified stalkers are disabled by default. You should check the mod configuration menu ingame. One of the mods at the bottom of the list controls spawns. You should check it. I turned them all on brings a bit more variation to mutant spawn. *zombified stalker are in the stalker spawn tab, there's also a zombie tab but that's for if you wanna play a zombie apocalypse scenario.

idk if you know this already, but keep everything related to crafting (including weapons and armor), bc you can access the stash stock through the workshop menu, saving you time from finding which part you need, when repairing.
