I own both bags and I couldn't choose between them! I purchased the Mountouris when it first came out and use it constantly. After all these years the bag has held up! Hope you enjoy yours as much as I have/do mine.

Hi ! I love your videos and reviews, particularly that you choose all different LV pieces, not only the popular ones :) ! Would yo7 recommend this backpack for a mum? I use the Prada tessuto medium (nylon) it lasted me a longgg time and very resilient, now I am trying the LV epi Gobelins, but I am not liking as much, will see how that goes.. i will watching your videos for more info. How do you conditioned your backpack? I have one and afraid to use it because of bottom vachetta .how do you also take care thanks

I always wipe it down clean with damp wash rag, let that dry. Then follow with my Lexol leather conditioner every couple weeks! Don’t be afraid to use it 😁 that’s what they’re made for!

Question Is there a LV backpack that has an easier access to get into? Meaning no buckle??? But more interesting than the Palm Springs

D Miss me hmm I have one suggestion but I’m not sure if you’ll like it. Check out the Louis Vuitton Sorbonne backpack. It’s gorgeous! Same silhouette as the Palm Springs but much dressier I think!

If the date code isnt on the ring does that mean its fake?

It may be located on the backside of the buckle on the front of your bag.

You should take it to LV to verify authenticity. I spot a very good replica. I've always read its a fake when the LV is cut off because Louis V will always have their logo (LV) displayed , which is common among all LV bags. Once I saw yours was cut off I knew it wasn't authentic.

Thanks for watching! It actually has been deemed authentic in the Chicago LV store on magnificent mile in 2018. Also have original receipt when I purchased preloved.

I find that authentication step tricky because there are so many styles and different craftsman making them, the cut offs definitely vary, even if it’s a fraction of the difference.

@@MTaylor Ok thank you for the clarity because yours looks exactly like a girl who reviewed hers as a replica. I had to go to the LV site to see I misspoke. But from website to website the styles do seem to vary on the backpacks. my bumbag doesn't cut off any LV logo nor does any of my other totes. My apologies for the assumption but thanks again for clarifying.

Buckle and cinch straps get super annoying to get in and close every time. Also the bottom being vachetta isn’t smart at all!
