Taking a look at the Nikon P520

I thought I would show you the settings on the Nikon p520.
I have since found the playback settings where you can add the miniature effect. I will do a video about that soon.

i always use san disk with my cameras. have you tried formatting it in the camera.

It's 2024. I watched a video on disassembly repair and assembly before buying one. It looked easy and it was easy. Most of the for-parts cameras that won't power on have good lens assemblies and screens. I buy the cameras for spare parts and repair them myself but I like easy to work on. This is it. My cameras are sacrificial and get damaged often I need parts and I can find them cheaply and easily. I just got a parts camera for 18 bucks, but it has a bad mainboard. 2024 they are cheap sacrificial cameras mounted to robots and stuff.

There are only three solder connections in the whole camera only on the mainboard. It's all easy ribbon cables and snap connectors. Except for removing the mainboard, every component can be taken out without using a soldering iron. You only need a screwdriver.

I was doing the same thing with my other camera. I bought parts for cameras but they are getting hard to find so I upgraded to P520. I can only rebuild my old camera one more time I got mud inside the lens it's jammed now. I don't rebuild the lens assemblies I just replace the whole thing out of another camera.

Can you tell me what setting to use for close up detail for example taking photos of flowers? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have the nikon coolpix 530

You want a macro setting. That's the setting I would use.

@@cactusladysouth1000 on the back of the camera I think there is a picture of a flower. That's the macro. I don't have this camera so I can't look at it to figure it out. You should have a manual. It will be in there.

@@chrisc74 There is no flower and the manual does not talk about this setting. The manual is only for basic set up. It is garbage.

If you mean a microphone socket for external mics then no it doesn't.

@@ahmedakram6901 I used a zoom mic with mine. I think I did a video about it. I had problems with the audio. Not sure how to up the on board audio. I don't have this camera any more.

This camera lasted three years for me and died, had so many issues that it was not worth sending it to the company to be repaired.
