Jared Goff the most overrated QB in football, can't succeed under any pressure, matter of fact he completely crumbles under pressure and also has no ability to create out of structure, which was a major difference in this game.

I feel the same way. He isn’t most overrated, but he is exactly as you describe. Completely crumbles under pressure. When given a great OL, he’s great. Under pressure he’s absolutely worthless. Rams realized this. That’s why he lost favor there. I’m worried the Lions will give him a big contract only to find that he lets them down once this OL is no longer dominant.

You don't understand how the game works. The goal is NOT to succeed under pressure, but to avoid pressure. The better QB's do that by making a quick read and throw. In 2023, Goff's had one of the fastest times to attempt --- 2.52 seconds. Given that most pass plays take 2.5 seconds or less to complete, Goff effectively controls the pressure with his timing.

@@dkmi In pass pro, the Lions OL was NOT dominant. The pressure rate on passing plays was 35.4% of drop backs. 18 starting QB's had a better situation than that. For the Lions QB (Goff), the pressure rate might have been worse if not for the QB's ability to make a quick decision and throw. On 46.1% of dropbacks, Goff was throwing the ball in 1.88 seconds (on average). Even under the favorable conditions created by the Lions QB, the Lions pass pro was NOT good enough to keep Goff clean on dropbacks under 2.5 seconds. The Lions OL gave up the THIRD HIGHEST NUMBER of pressures on dropbacks under 2.5 seconds.
