Hard to have water perfect for the fish, with low nitrate and nitrite levels, and still have enough nitrate for plany growth. The tablets just make a gradient for the plant, while the filter is busy breaking it down and removing it. What you want is Eichhornia crassipes, the common water hyacinth, which will absolutely grow there, and you will be forever ripping out mats of it to place in sealed bags, and freeze for a week, before dumping in the trash, because it will literally grow on any water surface that is slow moving. The fish will also use it for cover, and they will eat it, possibly even faster than it will be able to grow, but not too likely in a warm climate. Lovely purple flowers too, and it has built in floats as well. Should be easy to find at a pet store, or just look for the distinctive floating vegetation at a local lake. If grabbing wild take the plant, and use some pottasium permanganate solution to soak it for an hour or three, covering the entire plant in it, to kill off any nasty bugs that might hitch a ride with it. then leave in a bucket for a week to recover and start to grow, followed by another soak and week in fresh pond water. Big koi love them even more than cabbage.

Should aim the pumps AT the corners, that'll stop the water getting stale there. As for keep the lilies safe, maybe keep them behind the pumps so that the food pellets get pushed away from them

Plants may need some potassium and iron. The new leaves look very light green thats an indicator for iron deficiency. The holes on the big leaves mean its missing potassium. Water Plats need constant, but very litte fertilizer, give 1/3 of manufacturer recomendation to avoid algae groth ;). I give both in seperate fertilizers once a week, the water cant keep any nutrients long so you need to give these 2 fertilizers regulary. Fish prefer to eat weak, dying plants. best regards

Pond is looking amazing, love the setup as a fellow ponder/koi appreciator, if you’re going to add another waterfall, I’d do a bakki shower, the ultima 2 is a great filter, the Evolution Aqua Eazypod is also a great choice. I’ve got my old school vortex filters. Clean water happy fish!

Dude way too much power, You can put the waterfall in the back corner a little further down towards the big end. Put like one aerator closer to the other end where the juvies are and then the pumps in between the two pumping towards the aerator. you'll get one smaller convection over the juvies in the plands and a longer one from the water fall to the pumps up the aerator stream and back to the waterfall or the juvies. Also, sagittaria grass is great for small fix and buy some malaysian trumpet snails for the fish waste and ramshorn snails for general green goo clean up. And to be a complete nerd about it double the size of your filters and just use larger pore foam. It gives surface area for the green goo to eat whats in the water column. You'll have too squeeze out a lot of brown stuff, just dead green goo, or else they'll fill up. I'd double the size of the waterfall filter and put a rock shell on it. Wth the extra foam it can hold this will be your main filter and you can build a cool looking waterfall and make it taller for more room and a deeper plunge at the bottom. Sorry I'm a nerd
