What is your view on the sustainability of the stellar performance observed in the banking sector?

I think the performance of the banks will moderate in the 2nd quarter given the appreciation in the naira. if this appreciation is sustained, it means instead of FX gains, we may see FX losses based on mark to market. Also the expected recapitalization of the banks through public offer will have negative impact on prices given the increase in share prices. Remember, high interest rate will also have negative impact on stock market.
