While people say Monty used his claws to break Bonnie, and yes Monty’s claws cause massive damage to things, he doesn’t get his claw upgrade until after Bonnie is decommissioned. What is interesting is that Bonnie’s left side of his face is caved in with his left eye messed up. And when Monty is shattered, he gets similar damage to his face. Even the Monty ride has a cutout of Bonnie appearing to look like he’s about to fall. We don’t even know why Bonnie left his room in rockstar row. It’s also interesting that Bonnie even has a room behind the stage in the bowling alley. It’s possible that Bonnie and Monty started off as simple robots that were in their own attractions, and Bonnie was given a major part in the band. Eventually, Bonnie gets decommissioned, with Monty being the replacement. When Cassie mentions that the AR Monty is hard to look at, it’s possible that when Monty replaced Bonnie, not everyone liked him. That’s why Monty is so hostile. He’s upset that he isn’t as loved as Bonnie. So during performances, Monty is found at the catwalks, looking for Bonnie, because it was the last time Bonnie was at. Who lured Bonnie, and why he was destroyed is a mystery? Not to mention Bonnie’s neon light shows him with Star glasses, so is it possible Monty was given Bonnie’s Glasses? It’s hard to say exactly to what happened to Bonnie, but I’m sure we can solve it eventually. We just need more time to think, and maybe get more lore implications. Edit: 4:55, it’s possible that the prototype label was pained over, but I could be wrong?

Still wondering about the handprints on Sun/Moon and Vanny. For Sun/Moon perhaps since he's the daycare attendant, kids are always climbing on him lol. But kids handprints on vanny would mean a much different thing. Handprints on Vanny would have to be either Vanessa herself struggling to put on the costume, or the kids she killed trying to resist.

I have a theory as to what happened to Glamrock Bonnie. If you look closely at Bonnie's chest, the same area where Freddy has his stomach hatch installed, Bonnie has one, too, except it's painted over to make it less noticeable In a deleted Vanessa line, she talks about how Gregory won't be like the last one. I'm assuming she was talking to Burntrap about a child who escaped the Pizzaplex. The Endo Warehouse in Parts and Service is loaded with Endoskeletons roaming about and Moon themed merchandise. Why is it loaded with working Endo's when there are four main animatronics? My theory is Moon brought kids to the warehouse security room under Vanny's order and assembled the Endo's as guards to keep them from getting out until ... she gets to them. Although their red light, green light thing is easy to get past them if someone knows what they're doing. So, a child Moon caught finds the security badge (let's say it's lv 4, in the game, by the time Gregory gets there, it ups his clearance to level 4) and figures out the Endo's weakness. They manage to slip pass them and find themselve in the hallway to Parts and Service. The lift to the mainstage is at the top, so they enter Parts and Service with the badge. They then hear the stage lift coming down. Panicking with nowhere else to go, they go to Bonnie's elevator (why Bonnie specifically, let's say only his was working like Roxy's in SB or Bonnie is their favorite character) So they make their way to Bonnie and explain their situation. Bonnie calms them down and assures the child everything will be okay. After they talk, Bonnie agrees to help them escape the Pizzaplex and tells them to hide in his stomach hatch so they won't be seen (like Gregory and Freddy). and Bonnie leaves his green room at 12:24 am like in the security message. At this point, Vanessa/Vanny goes to the security room in the warehouse and discovers the child escaped. (If she's dumb enough to leave a screw driver in lost and found near an air vent so Gregory could escape, the security badge isn't that much of a shocker.) Annoyed, she activates the virus in the Glamrocks (including Freddy since he can be hacked as shown in the Burntrap ending and Monty despite not being in the band and having the virus installed in him.) She orders them to hunt down the child (like Gregory.) As to why Bonnie doesn't turn, he either wasn't installed with the virus yet, or he was in Safe Mode after he malfunctioned or something. After they manage to avoid the Glamatronics and get to know each other, they make it to the Atrium. Bonnie tells the child about the two possible exits in the building. The loading docks and the fire escape. The child tells Bonnie they have the level 4 security badge, and Bonnie tells them that the fire escape would be easier to try to get out of. At 2:40 am. (as in the security report), Bonnie enters the East Arcade. (This part may seem weird, and this is just a theory, so roll with it.) Freddy (under the virus control and already in the East Arcade) sees Bonnie enter and follows him. After the child exits Bonnie's stomach hatch, Freddy sees them and attacks the child. Bonnie, jumps in the way and takes the damage done to his back in the thumbnail of this video. The security STAFF in the arcade sees Freddy attacking Bonnie and tries to apprehend him, but Freddy holds them off and calls the others for backup, letting Vanny know where the child was. (The reason I think it was Freddy who did the damage on Bonnie's back is because in SB when Gregory gets annoyed by all the security in the East Arcade, Freddy just tells him it's because of a "past incident". So, I'm thinking he either doesn't know why as Vanny likely deleted their memories of that night so the Glamrocks wouldn't snitch or he doesn't want to talk about his violent behavior. Personally, I don't think he remembers what happened from the memory wipe. Also, there is no green paint so that rules out Roxy and Monty. Chica doesn't have claws so that leaves Freddy.) Bonnie lifts the child into his arms and bolts it to the Prize Counter before his friends and Vanny got there. Worried for him, they ask Bonnie if he's okay Bonnie tells them he's fine and not to worry about him. They make it to the fire escape and the child tries to make Bonnie go with them. Bonnie refuses and tells them all that mattered was that they were okay. Bonnie finally tells them to run and don't look back as he feels he's not going to last long. Vanny, seeing that Bonnie helped the child escape orders the Glamrocks to disassemble him. Bonnie not wanting to fight his friends runs out of the East Arcade as Vanny goes after the child. Bonnie tries to hide from his friends, but they kept finding him. They insult and taunt him like they did to Gregory. Nearly getting caught, Bonnie enters Monty Golf at 4:12 am. Again, as in the security report. He hides for a little bit until he gets found by Monty. Bonnie with nowhere left to run, jumps to the catwalks (we know they can jump pretty high as seen when Freddy rescues Gregory from Roxy and Monty in the lift control room and Monty jumping around on the catwalks chasing Gregory during the boss fight). Monty follows and Bonnie runs to avoid him. This plays out similar to the boss fight. Eventually, Monty cuts Bonnie off in front of the Hurricane Bucket and slashes his chest. Monty slashes at him again, but Bonnie caught him. He tries to reason with Monty saying he knows he doesn't want to do this as they were friends since the day Monty Golf was open to the public. Monty says nothing under the viruses influences and keeps trying to kill him. At this point, Vanny returns and skips to the button to activate the bucket. She has the security badge the child had in her hand. She then activates the bucket (The bucket was either already filled or she rigged it when they first got on the catwalks) The bucket falls on them both and they both get severely damaged until they land on the stage. (In the Monty Mischief message, it said "someone" activated the bucket when Monty was on the catwalks next to it. I believe it was Vanny who did it because, in a similar report, "someone" broke into a display case in Rockstar Row and stole the Music Man prototypes with nothing caught on the security cameras. So, saying "someone" decide to wreck an animatronic worth a fortune is a croc of bull. At this point, Vanny orders Freddy to take Monty to Parts and Service to be repaired, but orders Roxy and Chica to hide Bonnie in the backroom of the Bowling Alley. They wrapped him in the carpet and carry him to the Utility Tunnels. (The Ultility Tunnels and Parts and Service are the only blind spots in the game, so they could move Bonnie without being spotted. The reason I suspect Roxy and Chica moved Bonnie was because Freddy was busy, Monty was broken, and Vanny isn't strong enough to carry him. Also, in RUIN, when Cassie uses the Security Mask in Bonnie Bowl, a giant Roxy and a giant Chica themed bowling ball are seen caving in the bowling lanes.) They make it to the back room in Bonnie Bowl and leave Bonnie there. They turn to leave when they hear Bonnie trying to send a warning message to the Pizzaplex. Roxy turns back and rips out Bonnie's voice box, preventing him from speaking. (At this point, Chica starts to realize what is going on. (she seemingly aware she's hacked in SB she cries while hunting Gregory, but she can't stop herself) but after she witnesses what Roxy did to Bonnie, she manages to use her voicebox upgrade to try and stop her.) Roxy throws Chica against the wall, knocking her out. She turns her attention Bonnie and grabs a bowling ball from the rack and smashes him in the head with it. Spliting the bowling ball in the process. (I looked around the Bowling Alley and I could not find another bowling ball like the one that smashed Bonnie's head. It was all purple with I think was black in some spots. It was hard to tell since it broke in three ways. I think it was suppose to represent Afton with the color being purple and being the one who caused all of this with the hacking and the virus) After Bonnie "shuts down" from the impact, Roxy carries Chica to Vanny and she deletes all of their memories of the night. I know in the security report, it said Monty needed emergency repairs so he would need technicians to repair him and there was no specific time it happened during that day, but it did say it happened a month ago during the events of SB. The same time Monty was chosen by upper management to be the lead bass player since they couldn't find Bonnie and were likely too cheap and/or lazy to make another Bonnie. Edit: I realized if this theory or some parts of it are correct, Chica having her memory wiped would mean she'd forget being hacked. I suspect all of them are aware when it happens, but Chica managing to express sadness by crying means she go through the same process over and over without realizing it happened multiple times in the past. The others might have some control, like when Roxy cries when she thinks she's not trying hard enough or when she thinks everyone dislikes her. Monty really didn't get much screen time, but he was shown to be the most aggressive multiple times in the game. If he was always like that or if it's recent, I don't know. So that is my theory about what happened to Bonnie. What do you guys think?

@isabelortiz1230 Thank you. I came up with this theory reading the messages across the Pizzaplex. The one talking about Bonnie leaving his room and going to the East Arcade made me think of why there? So, I thought about what was in the East Arcade. El Chip's( it's connected to the arcade), the security office, the Prize Counter, and the fire escape. I know in the game, the fire escape is only vip accessible (either Vanny changed it like in the loading docks needing lv 7 security to open the door, or Fazbear Entertainment is dumb af. Both are actually possible now that I think about it.) And Freddy tells Gregory of the fire escape being a possible exit. Since the child in theory has the lv 4 security badge from the warehouse, they would have easier access around the arcade.

I’m so happy a lot of people in the comments are not jumping to conclusions that Monty killed Bonnie because he’s evil and irredeemable, I definitely think he did it, But under the influence of the Storyteller/Mimic1/Glitchtrap virus which amplified his personality making it worse like the other Glamrocks, I don’t think Monty is an irredeemable monster, I hope he comes back and gets a redemption arc like Roxy did.

While I do definitely agree that Monty was the one who decommissioned Bonnie (there are too many hints for it to not be him at this point), I like to think that he didn’t do it on purpose. Vanny's influence on the Glamrocks affected them really badly. And while in the case of Glamrock Chica and Roxanne Wolf had certain traits about them heightened, Monty's may be a case of it changing his personality entirely. After all, when we look at how he's portrayed on various animations and artworks all over the Pizzaplex, he is clearly meant to take up the role of someone who is chill, laidback. Perhaps because this would prevent him from being useful to her, Vanny changed his personality entirely. Monty is pretty much the tank of the Glamrocks, after all. But then again, maybe he's portrayed like that in the art because that was the role Bonnie played. Maybe he really is just a full on bad guy. Either way, I love Monty and I hope we get more of him in the future.

I would like to believe that Monty and Bonnie were both very good friends. Monty might’ve been/not been aware of him destroying his friend, mostly because of the Glitchtrap virus, which most likely affected the animatronics for very short amounts of time before Security Breach, where they are corrupted throughout the whole night. If Monty was aware, his destruction and stress might’ve been caused by the trauma that he himself created, by literally destroying his own friend even if he wasn’t the one doing it.

The thing is Monty didn't have upgraded Claws before he got that upgrade after Bonnie was decommissioned destroyed and so I think that Bonnie kind of got decommissioned dissemble by the staff bots Bonnie kind of like the one of Freddy ending with vanny William glitchtrap burntrap to. Cuz vanny glitchtrap burntrap William they had a button to control the staff bots to destroy galmrock Freddy and maybe Galmrock Bonnie to. In the Bonnie ride Monty doesn't have claws to at First. Vanny glitchtrap burntrap William spray green graffiti paint on Bonnie chest to make it look like Monty did it put the blame frame Monty for it Monty idolized his icon look up to GlamRock Bonnie as a fan and as a best friend to. And also vanny glitchtrap burntrap William hit Bonnie with the bowling ball to. After Monty idol disappeared went missing Monty then had the upgrade after and that's when he had anger problems after when GlamRock Bonnie was destroyed missing and Monty had the upgrade after Bonnie was destroyed. before Monty got to upgrade he doesn't look angry but after Monty got the upgrade he has anger problems

I still don't think Monty killed Bonnie. First of all, it's a little too obvious that he did, second of all, the green on Bonnie is clearly under paint, plus Monty has a specific way he breaks things, which you can see in sb on staff bots, but it doesn't match on Bonnie, yes there's a few that look kinda similar but still, it's not close enough. In my opinion, I think it could very well be the staff bots. The damage on Bonnie is painfully similar to Freddy's, and not to the staff bots and other things that Monty ever destroyed Edit: Also, i forgot to add that Monty doesn't tear things, like with the staff bots, which is most of Freddy's damage in the first place.

you know it could very well be possible for roxy that she broken off the rest of her mouth through jumping at gregory throughout SB after the shatter missing and some point after the events due to moving blindly if she hadn't already lost it during the blind jumps she could of very well of stumbled and fell somewhere doing more damage then lost it making the mask more available.

here's my bonnie theory: it was the blob more accurately, it was the blob in an attempt to slow vanny down vanny starts with the prototype freddy, likely an alpha build of where they want freddy to be eventually, blob takes him out, forcing the staff to accelerate the release of a beta model we get in security breach, this is why freddy has a line remembering being underground but that it was not him, this is why he is so deeply effected by the sight of the endo training area, and this is why we have prototype in ruin, he wasn't decommisioned and scrapped for parts like they probably did to foxy, he was lost in an area the staff couldn't easily get to him with freddy lost, vanny moves on to using bonnie, as he seems to have all the parts necessary to do freddy's hatch thing, eventually blob takes him out too, this is why the damage to bonnie is so similar to that of the prototype, but by now, vanny has managed to get the virus into the network, so she already has the other animatronics to work with

I feel like Monty's claw upgrades are as their said to be. An upgrade. Bonnie needed to play the bass guitar and does it without claws at all. Monty Had a smaller homemade looking one before he even was in the band. At the point of if he were to have attacked Bonnie that he'd play. Maybe the claw upgrade just made already strong claws stronger. Like if Monty can't play without claws(but the bunny can? Monty I just feel bad for ya now bud...) But he played before his upgrades then if him needed claws was a true statement then he'd need claws before Bonnie was attacked.

@Mckidcash His hands look completely intact, though. Plus, by the sound of the messages we read, it sounds like 1. They couldn't find Bonnie, and 2. They upgraded Monty to have the claws *after* Bonnie went missing, so Monty taking the claws wouldn't make sense. (Not saying you are absolutely wrong, I just dont see how the logic would work out that way.)

It’s all pointing to Monty to decommission Bonnie, but green claw marks? Only Roxy has green claws… don’t see what kind of problem she would have with him… I was thinking maybe he did something to Cassie or she’s scared of him but that wouldn’t make much sense because Bonnie’s Cassie’s dad’s favorite… I don’t know that’s just what I was thinking when I saw him, anyone else have any ideas? (Also ik the last time Bonnie was hear of was going into Monty’s golf but if Roxy decommissioned him she might have used Monty as a coverup?)

Not all the comments defending Monty 😭Nah, but in all seriousness, I don't know how it can't be Monty at this point. I know lots of folks think that Steel Wool have made it seem "too obvious" that it's him, but I kind of think that's because it just straight up is him. Keep in mind that HW, SB, and HW2 have all been somewhat straight forward with its storytelling. While there is still a ton of mystery surrounding what happened, it's pretty obvious that Monty was involved, willingly or not. There is just so much evidence stacked against him, and even the best arguments I have seen or heard claiming he's innocent can never fully clear him of the murder. Additionally, while Vanny may have influenced him with the virus, I can't even say Monty wasn't at least a little bit interested in taking out Bonnie before this. There's the sanshee plushie description that implies he did take Bonnie down, which definitely does NOT help his case. (An argument could be made tho that these descriptions may not be canon as we don't know if Scott himself approved them or not). I don't really feel like rehashing all the evidence against Monty (there's too much and I can't remember them all off the top of my head anyway), but it's hard to ignore it, like the hidden Bonnie cutout implying he'd been pushed off somewhere high (likely the Monty Gator catwalk), or even the gutterball animation in HW2. If it feels like Steel Wool is pushing the Monty is the Murderer angle too hard, I think it's only because people continue to deny his involvement. The real question is WHY Monty would do this and how he did it. Another question is what was Glamrock Bonnie doing the night he vanished? Why did he leave his room? A possible theory is that Monty was always meant to be a plant by Vanny. He was her guinea pig, the first to be tampered with. Since he wasn't a main part of the band, likely not interacting with guests too often, infecting him with the virus was very easy and likely went unnoticed for a long time. She might have even baited him into going along with her if she promised him a place in the spotlight--- he hates Freddy, but Freddy can't be taken out or questions will be raised, but Bonnie? Not a lot of eyes would be on him like Freddy, and he'd be a step right below the main star, giving him a chance to eventually take Freddy's place (at least, that's what he hoped would happen). So, Vanny got him to take out Bonnie, but it's still unknown why she would want that....

i think it's a case that he was already jealous of the band and a bit violent, given that the other glamrocks' glitches were exaggerations of their personalities, for sure. I like the idea that he was always the first plant, that would definitely make sense

@@higueraft571 I don't know if Monty was really hiding in his room so much as he was locked into his green room because of how aggressive he gets outside of performances. At this point, unless we see Monty BEFORE he was infected, we don't really know if he was jealous or not. It's hinted that he definitely does not like Freddy, and in one of the SB endings, he takes Freddy's place as the band's leader.

The virus doesn't seem to drastically change the personalities of the Glamrocks, but instead, it causes a strong exaggeration of already pre-existing personality traits within each of the animatronics. If Monty was already aggressive and jealous and ambitious, the virus made him even more so, and it might have given him the push he needed to actually take Bonnie out.

Monty totally lumped up Bonnie I think y’all are OVERthinking. Just from sb opening with the claw hint when he’s playing the base. The way he gets totally messed up from Gregory “karma”. My theory is Roxanne Wolf broke Bonnie down since Monty didn’t get his claws until after Bonnie was decommissioned and his claws are black, Roxy has always had claws and hers are green, if Bonnie was more popular than her I can see her decommissioning him

my one issue with these theorys is the fact that roxy dosent get to the point that she wants to kill/destroy when any one is more popular than her she gets sad and a bit mad but not to the point of decommissioning someone only 2 bots show they want to decommission other bots the mimic and monty (not counting corrupted endos or staff bots)

I swear Roxy decommissioned Bonnie. 🐰 While i agree Monty IS violent its just too weird to leave these little maybe he did maybe he didnt details with the claws and the time line etc. Why not have his body locked up in Monty golf to make it clear as day and fit with the narrative ? In montys boat ride theres a shot of the original glamrocks. Everyone is smiling EXCEPT Roxy who is standing next to Bonnie and her expression is annoyed / uninterested. She also has green claws. And finally in ruin if you enter bonnie bowl wearing the mask theres a pile of broken staff bots holding a Roxy bowling ball.
