thank you... dominar is a great all rounder bike... but if you are looking for only city commute, i wont suggest it... but if you plan to tour as well use it for city, then yes, go for it

not recommended... go for 200-250cc segment bikes like FZ, Gixxer or Duke if its only for city commute

To answer how long a bike runs, it completely depends on our maintenance, purpose and riding style... Coming to dominar, yes it might last even more than 5yrs& 1L kms... 2021 dominar is more refined than its previous versions but there is still room for improvement... but definitely justifies for the price you pay for... If you are on budget around 2-2.5L there is no other bike better than dominar in the market... but if you stretch it to 3-3.5L, there are other options like RE 650s and 390adv which would suit your requirements... not necessarily a dream bike should be an expensive one... its only about affordability of a person ... and to me, any bike could be your dream bike... if only riding expensive bikes makes you a biker or a rider then you need to watchout the bikers who have attained records and done world tours on cheapest of bikes... just a perception my friend... Thats true brother but you should always have a target in your life today i am riding pulsar 135 cc I covered 16 states 3 countries and 85000 km on it but i am riding it because you are true bike doesn’t matter but we all have a dream to achieve something in your life and for me its a new bike right now I can’t buy because I can’t afford it but one day sure i will so this spirit make me work more harder to achieve my goals

If its touring then we have Himalayan, Dominar, Meteor, Adventure 250 and 390, which gives options for luggage setup with great comfort... my advice - go for a bike with ample power, tubeless tyres, reliability and low running cost...
