Taking delivery of our 2023 Corvette Stingray Z51

Sorry for the delay in posting the spec list.
Here are the details:
2023 Stingray Convertible 3LT
The options we added is the Z51 performance package, the front lift, Z51 performance suspension with magnetic selective ride and performance traction management, carbon flash painted nacelles and body color roof & convertible top, red calipers, custom interior trim and seat (we originally had ordered the dash to be black with red stitching like the seats, but changed it later) composite black rockers, carbon flash metallic painted outside mirrors, and the battery protection package.
After taking delivery, we added Cilajet to protect the paint, radiator grill covers, and scrape armour.

Congratulations. I have a torch red 2020 Z51 coupe. I love mine and bet that you will too. My dealer kept mine in the white transportation wrap and let me have the pleasure of unwrapping my car.

Tbh I'd be perfectly happy to have Chevy do the 500 mile break in period before I took delivery of the car. Im the impatient type and would want the full potential asap and that would save me from having to drive 8 hours to achieve it the first day I had the car. 😊 Very nice spec btw.

It has 10 miles on the odometer, and 395 miles before its empty, gas range.

The 395 miles indicates a full tanks of gas. I doubt that the dealer would let anyone drive a Corvette 395 miles before the customer takes delivery. My 2023 C8 came with 1 mile.

I think z51 is your best option over z06 for the money and if your not gonna track it of course

You can track a z51 just fine.. along with the base model.. just depends what you're capabilities are. To be honest the base model is more than I could ever handle on the track.. although I ordered the z51... Well because I need it😭. I may be ordering a twin htc base as a daily 👍

Later in the video, we realized that was the amount of miles left for the gas, not the odometer. This is the problem when your salesman is not there to show you the car.

The only positive thing I can tell you is that you will pay the MSRP. They do not mark up, which is great. Other than that, it was not a great experience. Our salesman did not keep in touch during the year we waited to take delivery. We always had to call him for a status. He did not call to tell us the car would be arriving. It would have been nice to see the car wrapped and being delivered. Also, this dealership installs Lo Jack and window etching on all their cars and doesn’t tell you that upfront. It was quite a shock for them to charge us about $1000 for both of these when we went to pick up the car. They claimed they had already been done and we were stuck with the charges. We found out a few days later, they never installed the Lo Jack, so they basically fraudulently charged us for the something they never did. They did return our money, but that left a very bad impression. When we took delivery, they sold us the extended warranty. We weighed the costs of repairing this very expensive vehicle (lot of electrical stuff) and we decided to buy a warranty for an additional 5 years after manufacturer warranty expires for a total of 8 years. They charged us $10,000 for that 5 year warranty. The next day, we contacted the dealership and told them we wanted to cancel the warranty, so we drove back to the dealership to sign a new contract. That was when we found out about the Lo Jac debacle because we had been complaining about that to the finance manager. Lastly, we realized a few days later that the second FOB didn’t work. We took it back to the dealership and they kept playing with it for over 90 minutes and still couldn’t get it to work. They ended up ordering us a new one and they told us it would take about a week to receive. We’re still waiting for it. We did have a good experience in the service dept. We purchased the Cila-Jet paint protectant which the service dept performed. Rose and Mary were very friendly and courteous.

I view them as buzzards just waiting for their moment to pick your wallet clean of all its cash down to the bone. What really stinks is how they can sully what should be such a wonderful moment such as receiving your dream car with that kind of behavior and downright deceitful business practice. I forgot to mention we made an appointment to pick up the car. When we got there at our scheduled time, our salesman was busy with another customer. We waited 45 minutes for him to finish with them. I was pretty pissed off because we were excited about delivery. He just handed us the key when we got there and we had to fend for ourselves. You can see that moment in the video.

I want to purchase a C8 Corvette myself but every dealership that I have contacted are not interested in selling a C8 at MSRP when you order one or when they have one sitting in their showroom. I do not want to have to go back east to order a Corvette from the major Corvette dealerships. Can you tell me the name of the salesperson that you dealt with hoping to avoid that individual. I hate to patronize a dealership such as them but I don't have other choices if I want to pay MSRP. It seems that they will screw you one way or the other and this is why people are buying Tesla's and avoiding the parasitic dealership experience.
