At the end of every player's turn, a Zombie Outbreak occurs. At the end of every player's turn, all zombie territories with 10 or more armies are now on a Zombie Rampage. Zombies multiply and outbreak based on AI difficulty and game round number. Outbreaks are random, but the higher the troop count in a territory, the higher number. Plus, Zombies convert a certain % of defeated troops to Zombies, too. However, there is a cap on the total number of zombies in relation to living troops on the board. As soon that cap is reached, they grow only slowly (+1, +2 or +3) untill they fall under the cap again. In a nutshell, you cant defeat Expert Zombies in the End game unless you have progressive card bonus.

The best way to defeat the zombie is to take out the territories that have more than 10 troops. Because those territories can trigger zombie rampage and the troop number will multiply based on the number of troops of the zombie rampage territories, the round your in, and the difficulty multiplier.

the best way to beat zombies, especially if you are playing with friends and are basically playing Co-op, is to just not attack the zombie until every player has at least 200 troops to attack with. because the less territories the zombies have, the more troops they get and the more concentrated those troops are, if you attempt to just let them be and gather your own troops, you can go for a hard attack and wipe them out. in one turn. then the game can coninue as normal
