Taking Down Our Christmas Decorations | Whole House Reset 2024 | Cleaning Motivation

Ever since me and Cora have been together, we have always taken our Christmas decorations down on Boxing Day or the latest 27th of December. We really like to use the time between Christmas Day and New Year to prepare for a new year and get off on the right foot.
This can be anything from finishing up any jobs in the house or personally, we don't want to take into the new year, spending time doing things we want together or recently spending time as a family with our son.
I mentally find it easier to give myself the grace period between Christmas Day and New Year to boost myself back up and get over the slump of too much food and be able to really start fresh.
I would love to know what you do when it comes to taking down decorations. Do you keep them up until the new year or stick to the traditional 12 days of Christmas? 🎄
