Sorry to hear about your porch pirates. I don't think people are buying your P71 trick anymore. What you need is to go to the junkyard and find a late model Ford Explorer and black it all out. Those always freak me out when I see them (even if I'm not speeding). You could probably just rattle-can it make it look convincing. Maybe put a mannequin in it as well. . . . The P71 is way too close to the street and people see it's just an old car. You need to sell the illusion at an arm's length away.

You put a motion detector inside the car, put a realistic mani an in the front seat with a blinding light so they can’t tell……..hmmm, it would be a lot of work, but contain the lights inside the car. Maybe like a ringtone thing. Where you get a notice on your phone, and you can actually talk…Tell them to get their shit out, or that wil be the last lite they steal…….? The best part of Vegas is the rest of the city outside of the casinos. Pro tip from a local - head over to the arts district and downtown/Freemont street. Summerlin also has a gorgeous outdoor shopping area as does the south end of town just 2 miles south of The Strip.

Stupid question but do they allow anybody in those watch shops? Even gawkers like me. (My dream watch would be a Grand Seiko Snowflake but I don't want to drop the six grand. That was absolutely drained my savings.) The most expensive grail watch I own would be my Seiko Flightmaster which I just got but that's like not even a 10th of the price.

If you want a good timepiece that is accurate and not pay excessively for the bling, Omega is the sweet spot, IMO. The downside is it's almost impossible to get a real one outside of a store like this. And, no, the company will only honor the warranty if it IS bought through a store like this. The cheap cousin by the same company is Tissot. I own one and it's far more accurate than a Seiko for only about 30% more money. Sometimes less. I got mine for $160 (IIRC) because they are more likely to be on sale than Seiko. Looks great, different, and actually accurate to a second or so a week. The same rules on warranty apply as well. Be sure to have the store fill out the warranty card correctly and send it in.
