Instead of partying on the weekends, I was working on cars- and I loved it. Since starting youtube, I have started what I call Ecrew. That was very cool, honestly I expected you to give it back to him. I had a Harley, my dream bike, Iron 883, custom pipes and everything perfect and due to medical issues I can no longer drive it so I had to sell it. The buyer loves it, takes care of it and you can tell it means as much to him. This man you showed the finished car to can still drive it and he’s not getting younger. 30 years with a car is precious and it felt wrong seeing you use him for views. If I were in your shoes I would consider giving it back to him with the condition that if he ever needs to let it go again to seek you out first so you can have dibs or something. Be well and drive safe, it was nice to see you both enjoying it so much!

If I were Sergio I don't think I'd want to ever see it again, and with all the work done to it, to have to watch it drive away all over again would be devastating. I couldn't go through with it twice, and with the extra kick in the guts the second time from how it looks.

I'm with you. Anyone that has sold a special car will likely agree with us that we never want to see it again just to have to deal with watching it drive away again and experience that loss again. I sold my favorite Kenne Bell Foxbody several year ago, if that dude drove up tomorrow to show me what he did to it it would make me sad all over again. I miss her, but I also love my 63' Galaxie 500XL. My Fox will always have a special place but I don't want to know her current status.

This is one of the coolest things to watch.. it's so amazing what you do already, but then to bring the cars back to the owners, let them see how it turned out and drive it, and especially naming the car after his grand daughter is so cool. This sort of thing alone would be so worth the life if I had the means to do that. Find things I enjoy, fix them up and share/show them, maybe even give back if I had the money to afford to do so. Honestly why I wish I could win the damn lottery.. so I could do things like this for friends, family and people in need.

I lost my first car a 1960 impala my uncle gave to me when i was 16 and my first new car a 1979 Trans Am, had to sell them to survive a bad time, they sat covered for years until i could save the extra money to bring them back to life. Sadly that never happened i now have a 1967 impala convertible that I'm working on, love your story. Sophia is beautiful Sergio loves what you did for his "Baby"

I know it's been said a thousand times already but I think the candle on the top would be to have the car tweaked then hand the keys back! I know there is I ton of time and pesos that have gone into this car. This car has a history and deserves to be with with the original owner. I have bought cars, trucks from individuals before. OK, so love everything except the wheels! Just because they look so flimsy, like my Rav4 2002 could rip the hub out, and that doesn't even do burnouts... So yeah, think I'd go for something resembling old "chrome spokes" like the Pacer 315c or whatever. Just something classic that feels more sturdy.
