Hey Zac that looks like one hell of an uphill grind! Though looks like Lucy had the better of it with her 4paw drive! I didn’t envy your having to crate all the gear on that 400 meter climb but definitely envied the view! Thanks for taking us with you! Definitely worth the view and visit with you and Lucy,enjoyed it thoroughly! Big 👍 thumbs up from SanFrancisco.

Awsome vid! It was nice to see Lucy was waiting for you to come, my dog does the same: she listens if my footstep is still behind her, if not: she stops immediately!

Hey Zac how often do you use the prong collar? And does it help a lot? I’m getting my German shepherd next month so I’m just wondering what tools to use
@KatandDogs2 жыл бұрын
we are wondering about this too... Ours pulls a lot and I wonder if a prong collar could help.

@@KatandDogs Hi I finally have my german shepherd now, and she just turned 6 months. Prong collars help... A LOT! I'd only start using after 4 months though and just on walks and take it off when she plays or gets home. Get the right prong and right brand, and make sure the fitting is good. I realized I only had to use the prong for a little and she got used to walking with me. When we go on walks now, I no longer use the prong (she pulls a bit but that's because I let her since she wants to explore and smell everything) However because of the prong if I tell her to heel or come near me she now does it frequently. So do your research, but prongs do help a lot

Zac, how do you stop her from pulling you off the hill? We really struggle when going down the hill with Rocky.

It has been wrongly circulated in the internet that this secret way is the only way to the Seacliff Bridge Lookout. There is in fact a proper way, which is much easier, and its entrance is right in the car park (children's playground).

Great video guys! I have a question - maybe you could help me. My six month old GS, Luna, has developed a habit of barking at cars. It can be quite frustrating - and frightening for other people. Any tips! Greetings from Ireland!

Awesome! Hiking with a German Shepherd can be quite dangerous if they're excited but Lucy was an absolute lady.

Dude!! Wow! But what did your wife say when she saw your video of it? Lol! I'd love to hike it up, I just would hate hiking down, and go ahead an plan my funeral if one of those Assuie snakes or spiders showed up! 😂 Glad you guys made it safe and sound! Maybe invest in a gopro camera or something that can be hands free for the next hike? That way you have 1 hand for Lucy and the other to hold on! 😬😀

I can just hear Lucy saying you are slowing me down daddy. My GSD watched that video and kept looking at Lucy I asked him if Lucy was his girlfriend and I can hear him saying no but I wish she was. Keep up the great videos.

wonder view, I think if you wanted to catch the sunset up there, you need to pack a miner's hat with a big powerful light so you could navigate your way back down.
