Who remembers when Subway used to cut a triangular shaped wedge out of the top of the bun lenghtwise , put all of the ingredients in the botom half , and then put the wedge of bread back on top ? That was like their signature way of making a sub . They've definately gone downhill since , and there are too many better options available now . Firehouse subs are the best ,and Jimmy Johns is good also , but Subway is on the bottom of my list these days .

you should take him to quebec in march for the maple syrup boils/shacks/culture/food. they get really into it and it's very family oriented. plus it'll be cold (always humorous) and they use the metric system. maybe you could take him to a montreal canadiens hockey game too. the modern game of hockey was formalized in montreal, the nhl began there, they have the largest arena and the crowds are always loud. they have poutine and montreal smoked meat too.
