Love Osaka and the food!! So yummm I took my parents out to Kyoto last year and spent a few days in Arashiyama! Just to say small thank you as they are getting older (: glad to hear you and your mom were able to spend time together in Japan!!

hmmm,... actually Osaka history museum is really interesting ... if you take the stairs there are great views of Osaka Castle .... also, in the museum is a partial, full scale reproduction of the Naniwa Castle ...

日本に来たから日本食が好きだと思い込むのもおかしいと思いますよ。私も留学経験あって、現地の生活は楽しかったけどご飯は好きじゃなかったです。彼女が計画した旅行で彼女の好きなものを母親に食べさせてあげたいって考えは真っ当な事だと思います。ただ、日本人として母親に日本料理を食べさせてあげたいって気持ちは共感します。
