This pup is extremely typical for a young GSD. All the nuances, the body language, the impulses and intentions...just everything. Best video I’ve seen in 20 years showing so perfectly the type of reactivity that is so common in a GSD. Great Video and good on the owners for nipping this in the bud...and with as few corrections as possible. Good Job!

Thanks so much for these videos which are packed with verbal and visual information! Great example of how training sessions in the real world should look like. Keep up the excellent work.

The skills it takes to wear gloves hand feed click and hold a lead is mad 🤣

Love your video! Do you have a slip lead on him or a prong? Love the distinction between banking positive associations and withdrawing with pulling up to stop reactivity or loading. Great to see your method of letting him make decisions while you guide him toward success.

Very good video I’m trying to do the same thing with my dog as soon as she sees a dog I click and treat and put in a sit wood you recommend a slip lead or would a halty be ok.

Title is a bit misleading… since it’s not your GSD, the result of this training could render obsolete when the dog is returned to its true owners, as mentioned he was away at training before.

Taking a reactive GSD to a dog park is stupid because those people there do NOT train their dogs and are ignorant!
