Yeah they dont yell sometimes and the suppressive fire is annoying. I got stuck at customs for 13 mins because the scav was prefiring the metal stairs and I cant shoot him.

I really think they nailed it this wipe, compared to earlyer wipes and Ai in other games, the Ai this wipe is pretty close to behaving Like real Players tbh, the only annoying thing is that they have the abilitiy to see you trough trees and thick fog, but i feel like this is super hard to program right

@@wanja236was thinking the same thing reading this thread there have been a few instances where I’ve killed a groups of two or three scavs and I thought I wiped a squad 😂😂(was going off their movement and tactics )

@@wanja236 yeah that’s probably the thing that is the most annoying, it’s just the instance of almost “rules for thee but not for me” type of scenario lol. Audio though is just trash, I’m pretty sure it’s due to reverb being implemented but I’m sorry no part of that aspect is “realistic” cause I can run next to a wall and differ clearly my footsteps from other noises around and tarkov isn’t doing that currently

those new buildings on customs are insane, the are that can be covered from even one of those is huge, basically half the map, they have windows facing so many directions... i dont know how they could think this was a good idea

Those windows can also be seen from half the map. Good luck finding the sniper aiming at the window, standing next to a tree in the middle of nowhere, before he sees you.

Has BSG ever revealed how the scavs ai actually functions? I would love to know how the scavs really work. They either nail you and remove limbs or 1 tap.

You can see in the killcam in Arena when the boys kill you. They literally look at the ground until you're in range then they lock onto your head full auto, its pretty bad lol

Based off my lived experience in Tarkov it seems like the scav essentially just rolls for a chance to hit a limb or the face. Bushes, walls, fog none of the environmental factors come into play. & then the other AI being bosses ect. Just have their settings turned up to 11. & not to mention the way they aggro seems so random at times. Thats why I am so curious to see how it actually works because it seems to not have any sort of dynamic, in an attempt to make it feel not scripted but it leads to all sorts of shitty situations.

They are so random. I remember once going in tagged and cursed just to test FPS, I ended up hiding in a bush while I had about 4 scavs walking past me. But somehow never saw me, other days it’s like they can smell you from behind a wall and just wait for you
