When four friends left Kenya in 2021, taking an unusual road trip in two tuk-tuks to raise funds for game rangers, they thought it would take them three months to reach Cape Town. Armed with two Piaggio Tuk Tuks the friends took on a few thousand kilometres into a spine-tingling trans-African expedition, which took them from the equator of Kenya to the southernmost tip of the continent; Cape Agulhas. Already 8 000kms into this epic odyssey they successfully conquered; alluvial mudflats, larval plains, salt pans and the infamous tsetse belts of southern Tanzania.
