Another great expose David. Thank you for publishing this one. One thought I have had is that it would be very interesting if you could dedicate a video to a detailed explanation of the various retrieving dogs that often appear in your videos. The various breeds, their breeders, and their performance in the field would be fascinating for me at least. I have always worked with dogs but not in the hunting scene and not the breeds that you have had depicted in your various videos. Perhaps sponsorship from the breeders might make the production worthwhile. Thanks again for the great video an all the best to you, Rachael, and the team.

hi dave i am 12 years old and i think that atleast once a week someone should come into school and teach people the ways of conservation as well as influencing game meat into school dinners and countrysports i love the countryside and i am going to be a gamekeeper when i am older but the problem is that people give you so much hate for loving shooting. i am supposed to be shooting in september but i have just broken my collar bone so i am sitting in my chair watching all of your videos. what do you think about intense fARMING and the future of shooting thanks, charlie
@DaveCarrieShooting
@DaveCarrieShooting 4 жыл бұрын
Hi Charlie Thanks for your great comments and wise advice for someone so young, I hope you realise your dream of becoming a gamekeeper when you are old enough. Intensive farming is very controversial but supplies a greater demand for cheap meat. If welfare of animals comes first then I do not have a problem with intensive farming but a pheasant partridge or grouse is still far better than factory , good luck young man👌👌👌 Dave Carrie

Very nice shooting Dave, just one thing is I am surprised your host did not recommend for the ladies to cover their shoulders in a predominantly muslim country. Not that your guests would have said anything but your hosit could have mentioned it... As a shooter who has worked in Egypt on and off for years then it is what I told my guests. Hope it takes off with the venture.
@Alexiscae07

Ciao, because what you are claiming about covering shoulders is just false and without any sense. I am just wondering if you already visited the ''Muslim country of Morocco' or just chatting
@DaveCarrieShooting
@DaveCarrieShooting 4 жыл бұрын
hi buddy - Morroco is a very relaxed country and the people are superb to get on with, i do not think western women will pose any dress problems as long as they show some common decency and that is obviously up to the individual, but i do not think it is anything like Egypt.

@@Alexiscae07 Ziac ya bassh, I worked in Hurghada for 2 years and traveled to Egypt around 35 times from Dahab to masa galib on many dive boats. As we are chatting please explain why when heads of state bring their wives to muslim countries the women wear long sleeves and a head scarf? it is a sign of respect and the women of that country are covered. But you should know that or are you just chipping in because you can? Yes in a tourist area people are on the beach on the boat etc.. i have eaten at the restrant next to the bridge in Dahab where there was a bomb set off. My nick name from boat crew when i worked in egypt was Abu Bish laylah ( father of the throwing anchor) kzbin.info/www/bejne/bGGke6mep7h0d9k

@@theessexhunter1305 hi buddy, sorry for your experience, never been in Egypt but i was reffering to Morocco, and i think that you are referring to Saudia Arabia when referring to heads of state and their wives and scaf. Hope you will have the occasion to visit Morocco in order to understand that what you are claiming is false. You are "free" to wear what you want and people do respect and understand the difference as long as they show some respect to tradition and some common general decency.
@theessexhunter1305
@theessexhunter1305 4 жыл бұрын
@@Alexiscae07 First off you should be more respectful as your experiences are like you say, with my arabic I can order food/drinks/in and out of hotels/airports/deal with my guests when crossing through check points etc. Yes your country might be more relaxed however being respectful cost nothing.

Simon Flynn ,,,,, Not a great advert ? You sure,,,,,this man does more to promote fieldsports in a positive way than any other person I've seen. As for his shooting in previous films I've seen him pull away from a good bird by anyones standards to then take out a bird in near orbit that presented itself and kill it dead in the air, he's not known for taking easy shots.
@DaveCarrieShooting
@DaveCarrieShooting 4 жыл бұрын
@@manofkentcatapultsgunsando5069 thanks for your observations and support, we only shot 11 quail between 5 guns just for the camera really but the quota is only 14 per gun anyway, they are very mindful of protecting the species and the quotas are very strictly observed and adjusted accordingly with any crashes or surges, Also the birds were shot the traditional way over pointers, i just do not get Simon Flynns point !! we were there to promote a Uk/Morroco collaboration as they wish to follow the English game shooting traditions having tried all the others to no avail. i did not see any questionable shots on the Partridge🤷‍♀️ anyway you cannot please everyone😁
