If you’re vlogging in public, the f1.8 aperture does a great job at obscuring faces in the background. That’s the only use case I can think of from my sample footage I took. I know it’ll be excellent for astrophotography but I don’t think I do enough of it to justify it

yeah thats pretty much what i was thinking of it for, I have the Tameron 17-28 F2.8 but was wondering if a smaller prime with a wider aputure might be better@@BadSloucher
