I have really inspired by this video and being motivated by Sam. I am an immigrant from China alone with one piece of luggage. Climbing the ladder at Sears Canada. His entrepreneurial spirit is what I did in my immigrant journey life. I am now having own co. , holding MBA from Syracuse University, holding four business certificates from Harvard Business School, holding one certificate from Yale Business School, holding one certificate from Cornell University. Entrepreneurial spirit can apply to both the business world and life. Thanks! Brad for making this interview with Sam.

I downloaded the Ebook "Am I being too subtle" for free and I was captivated by his recounting of his dad's escape from Poland before Luftwaffe bombed its train tracks in 1939. The whole book was just absolutely fascinating. I couldn't put it down once I started reading it. Sam is a true bad-ass entrepreneur who understands the art of risk taking. A true value investor, he would buy distressed properties in the 1970s and made investments when real estate market crashed. He understands supply and demand really well. Great interview and interviewer was professional too and one can just sense that mentorship chemistry between the two is just burning under the peaceful tones. Sam reiterates a lot of the points from the book but it's refreshing to listen to him saying it out loud.

I rarely comment on videos. This video is the very best on KZbin. If you are interested in personal growth and being the best you can be in your business then watch this video. I will share this video and sit down tonight with my 16 year old son to watch this. Sam Zell is so very wise and I love his self confidence. Sam should write a book for elementary school children. His ideas are simple and profound. His ideas should be taught to young children and then watch those children grow to be successful and independent. Thank you for this video. It’s a treasure. I’m looking forward to reading Sam’s book and the book he recommended reading called The Prize about the oil industry and how it shaped the world. Go get ‘em Sam. Don’t ever stop!!!

To be an entrepreneur you have to be able to and want to stand alone and be self confident and suffer the consequences of success and failure. You are the God of your creation, responsible and culpable for all ups and downs.

Nice interview! You are a lucky man to indeed be in the presence of the greatest of all time! I just recently started following Sam Zell and his exploits. I found out about him through Barry Sternlicht. He seemed like an interesting cookie that has a story to tell. I soon found out he as more than just a story.. he has a legacy and wit to share.

📌 I don't know who, but someone actually needs to hear this, you've got to stop saving all your money. Venture into investing some, if you really want financial stability.

Lately I've been thinking of buying cryptocurrency for retirement, I've set asides $350k to invest but along the line, I usually get cold feet maybe because I have no idea what I'm doing, please I could really use some guidelines.

In situations like this, I always recommend to people on getting guidance at least from someone that understands price action and all that while you strive on improving yourself by watching videos and learning fundamental analysis.
