Her mom's video just said contractors had a 2 year wait on their services, so they are not able to start building on the land for a while, so they wanted to visit her son, Louies brother. They intend to go back next summer. I, too, thought they were going to stay the whole winter. I already miss that cute cabin :( I can relate to how she feels at the end of the video. Where they lived was so beautiful. It would be very hard to leave.

Oh yeah we will be back! Building in Alaska is slooooow going.(we call it Alaska time) It’ll also be great to wait until we have a full years residency because then you get to cut down trees from the National to mill for free. It’s nice to get out and see the world for a bit. Have a little of both :)

My brother and his wife moved to Bellingham a year or two ago. So I could take the ferry to AK when I visit them? That’s amazing. How much was the fare for each vehicle. I know the price varies depending on how many riders there are. But just to have an idea of what I need to save up. You and your Mom are the best videographers on KZbin. Be well and stay safe.

Last thing I'd be doing is going to the lower 48 especially with the current events going down here imagine not being able to go back up. Its warm enough for u to start building a little cabin on ur property. I'd do anything to be up there and have land and work it. Instead I have to buy a box truck and turn it into a home and then buy property up there (not buying sight unseen).
@AdventureTimeLoui2 жыл бұрын
Nice going on your box truck home! Yeah I definitely recommend coming up there when the snow is melted and it’s warmer and take a look around at the different communities before buying land. I’d say we got pretty lucky with our community but still worth some exploring!
