Taking The CAT To The Doctor! | Hydraulics Don't Work So We Had To Drag It On The Trailer.

About 2 weeks ago I was using our Caterpillar 246 skid steer to push up some chicken litter in my barn. In the middle of using it, the hydraulics just quit working. We worked on it a little (checked fuses, wiring, etc) with no luck. It was in the middle of the barn and wouldn't roll forward or backward to we had to drag it out of the way and onto the trailer. Hopefully it won't be a real expensive fix.

Had to replace the hydraulic pump

Eric ended up selling it not long after that video but there was a seal between the hydraulic pump and motor that went bad

@@FarmerHunt So teh coupler failed? I just had one put on my cat 277. I went with the upgraded one but they are engineered weak points on the unit.

If you had a good coat of WAX on it would have been ok ,just watch so other video ,keep up the nice video and be safe
