it’s bc of the kits. the quick kits ruined the game. nobody wants to bring real gear into lockdown anymore bc a free quick kit is enough. grubs will always prevail.

I play solo only and its really frustrating knowing nothing about the game and getting manhandeled every other round :D I was like how strong can those thermals be and what the fk you can track ppl behind trucks and everything its insane :D

gotta risk it for the biscuit bro. you'll get better the more you play. get a good cheap kit that you like to run and run the fuck out of it until you get 10 mill in the bank, then upgrade to a solid t4 kit that you can use to get better at engagements/team fights and get your bank to 25 mill. then you can legit do anything you want with the experience youve gained and the wealth you've accumulated. that's when you can truly improve your skills. the journey to 25 mill is your training camp in this game. just enjoy the ride

Beat the crap out of them! I will gloat if you do! It is very difficult for me as a newbie to play the game because of them. The developers don't fix it and I can't play the game properly because of it. Even on the white farm there are therms walking around sometimes. I agree that the prevalence of t7 in lockdown is annoying, but at the same time, the game is about risk reward and leveraging advantage, which is teammates, ammo, and yes thermals. I wouldnt blame the exploiters, id blame the devs for the system. Hopefully the t7 nerf corrects it a bit.

Go missions/grind farm and valley to learn the gameplay, try to do ranked and tier 4 in lockdown and repeatedly get dumpstered by t6 players with thermals. Armory and TV station not having a normal version also results in some pretty quick return to main screen action since you don't know the spawns or angles. Game has a lot of QOL stuff that is awesome compared to Tarkov, just needs to smooth the learning curve a little.

People should be happy thermal players bring them into lockdown. It gives you a chance to get them the playing field is even they kill you they get your loot if you kill them you get there loot. Just because you keep getting killed by thermals doesn’t mean it makes them invincible, you can still kill them and come up a ton in 1 game. I really hate that there gonna nerf t7 because the people that have them grinded to get them now it’s gonna fuck up using scopes and who knows what else there gonna implement. Sooner or later thermals are gonna be like alien helmets and everyone is gonna have a thermal.. that’s what you really want? Idk man just my opinion

I've played farm lockdown yesterday in a duo, we went stables, had a bit of a battle and that one single guy came over when we were about to leave. I've heard him full sprint past the harvester. I looked around and he was aiming at the door that I just peeked. I was 'lucky' enough to click his face with my Scar, just runnin A1s, nothing fancy. Turns out it was a thermal SJ player. Not a very good one at that, lol. I'd say fair if he ran alone and he kinda did, since his friend died just 3 min into the raid. Definitely felt like he was trying to compensate for his lack of skill. Inventory full of smokes and gas, ofc. Like dude just go forbidden xD I died to thermals plenty of times in lockdown farm so I treat that story I just presented as a little bit of revenge :D
