I think i agreed with every single draft pick this draft with the exception of maybe Thalia. Which is kinda funny because i hate ending up in GW and i would have gone down the exact same route. Thalia looks real good in this deck though.

Noticing in pack 1 there was an option to just not sweat the DT too much and hone in more on GW splashing blue. You would get metamorph or march, thraben, wandering emperor, and skyclave, and elvish mystic (which would be solid in a less splashy deck). Of course, that does put you on bant midrange in an extremely powerful format and you picked up considerably more powerful cards. But the plus side is you guarantee you end up with a functional deck with a solid curve, which really supports dungeoneer, and you still have some outs to do busted stuff (mostly with nadu but also mana denial) and interact. I find dungeoneer to be much less impressive when you're splashing it in 4-5 color decks that don't always get to the board quickly and consistently. Whether that would have worked out better remains to be seen as I'm typing this at the end of pack 1, maybe it's crazy to take that line... but I always get a bit worried when you go for the 5 color without already having some fetches. Of course given this is team draft that's probably the tiebreaker to taking the more powerful cards, but I think in a normal MTGO queue there's a strong argument for just drafting a solid beatdown deck that has outs to do busted stuff and uses possible future power well.

After playing latest cube list Im ready for initiative to go away. 50% of games I played were just fighting initiative and monarch. It warps the format to just play as many fliers/hasters and as much spot removal as possible.
