When I worked on cruise ships, I was lucky enough to be based out of Stockholm for several cruises. We did Scandinavian / Baltic cruises. Norway is without a doubt one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever visited, Olden and Flam in particular. I loved riding the train in Flam. We stopped at the waterfall and then a little hotel where they gave us coffee / tea / mini fresh made waffles with cloudberry jam. Amazing!

in my opinion, a thumbs up, must see vid...this has to be one of thee best train vacation videos on the tube...it was captivating and exciting because of the unexpecting views …very good presentation...great editing...great color, saturation, no camera shake, great subject movement from one to another etc...nice background music...very educational and scenic...the rock climbing and zip line was terrific...and with all the beautiful sites, it's a photographers dream...a lot of planning was involved except for the train door hitting Jess's head (ouch!)…what an experience of a lifetime...thank you for sharing...

Anyone that wants to see more of the scenery from the train, check out RailCowGirl. She's a train driver with about 200 videos from the driver's perspective. Summer, winter, sunny, rainy, snowing, etc. She's done every route Downie did here and then some. Correction: just the Norway routes, not the Swedish ones

An amazing post and the first of yours I've seen. Well done!! On that climbing tho -- they need to stress that that is like expert level. Wow, you guys are lucky to be alive. that was super extreme. Prob is when something happens you are so remote help would take hours and hours to assist and no assist in the fog. Best from Colorado! ps had to add. You guys must be in super duper shape to do that climb then no hangover afterwards...Watching the end the zip line was fabulous- I was waiting to see you loose your camera. Now the bike ride down I could do. Now I have to add the surfing -- wow, wow. really surprised you could do that with your head and feet unprotected.

From the UK upwards the scenery is very similar, it's stunningly beautiful, there's just a little taller Mountains the further up you go, what a great trip. :) I took my kids travelling through Switzerland, the small part of Austria that wierdly intermingles with the border then back into Switzerland the Bavaria, this would blow your mind where people & scenery are compared, I don't know if you've done this yet as I'm new to the channel but if you haven't then please do, you won't regret it. Your pronunciation is quite funny but you can tell what you're trying to say, God loves a tryer 😂☺️😎
