Honestly…this episode is enlightening. They wanted the producer to praise something that he knew wasn’t good. Hindsight is 20/20 and apparently the producer was right because the song never blew up like it would if it was as good as Hanson thought it was. I always believed Hanson’s mainstream career was crushed by “the big labels” but after seeing this episode it’s clear that the Hanson brothers youthful egos destroyed their mainstream career

I lovee how he (Danny) actually tells them the truth even if it's not that easy for them to hear. I think it's hard 4 them to get negetive criticism espacially after all they've been through with the making of Underneath.. it's funny how when someone tells them that it's not "quite there" for him than they say: "he doesn't get it" "he needs to be in our head" well maybe he just didnt like it that much.. (most people are like that being defensive with critism) anyway. i'm glad they decided to work with him and litsen. he seems kinda genuine. and they are sooo talented. it just does'nt mean they always right :)
