if shouldered you should be able to control the recoil much better then whats in game. The PKM/PKP is HEAVY! Weight reduces recoil. To conclude the recoil isn’t realistic at all. For sources you can go look at videos of people shoulder firing them

realistically the recoil is ridiculously overexaggerated but it's very necessary considering the game needs to be somewhat balanced

Look up videos of it. If hip firing, or shouldered, it shouldn't have *this* much recoil. But it's obviously for balancing purposes. I'd personally love to see the recoil get toned down, but with extreme arm stamina loss and inaccuracy while hip firing, kinda like Squad.

Perfect video, but try using adrenaline. In patch 0.12 i tried neglecting ash-12 with the syringe because it gives you +15 recoil control
