This song has so much emotion, it makes my heart lurch from '..And honey I was proud of it, and honey I was proud of you' on. I can't imagine what Adam had to have felt to be able to write something out like this. I heard somewhere that during a concert Adam dropped to his knees at the end of the song cause he was so emotionally exhausted from singing it. (Does anyone know where if there's a video of this??) This is such a sad story and Adam and the guys are the best songwriters EVER to be able to portray it through the music the way they have. It chokes me up everytime.

A lot of people didn't like this album, well to put it simply the album got horrible reviews. but i thought this album was great. songs like this one give me a different view, perspective, outlook,etc, on life and situations that fit the lyrics/tone, such as an ex. but it gives me that feeling in my stomach and ooooh boy do i love it
