ingredients
For masala paste :-
grated coconut 1/2 cup
green chillies 2-3
Fennel seeds 1 tsp
whole pepper 1 tsp
garlic 5-6
ginger 1 inch piece chopped
cashewnuts 6-8 or roasted gram 3 tbsps ( pottukadalai )
water 1/2 cup to grind the masala paste
For Tomato kurma :-
Oil 2 tbsp
clove 4
cardamom 4
cinnamon 1 small stick
stone flower small piece
fennel seeds 1/2 tsp
pepper 1/2 tsp
onion 2 medium sized finely chopped
mint leaves 1 handful chopped
coriander leaves 1 handful chopped
tomato 3 medium sized
salt to taste
water 1/2 - 1 cup
coriander leaves 1 tbsp finely chopped for garnishing
