It really was. We made some good memories thats for sure! He was so happy to be back diving though, his knees dont bother him when he swims so its the best therapy. When he lived on Oahu he dove multiple days per week, and for hours!

@@BackcountryWahine That's how big island style. I remember going Willmington Beach park sharing one uhu with one uncle and his boy. He told the boy, "Boy look, even Oahu boys get Aloha." Made me realize we all gotta be aloha and I enjoyed sharing with them. He even came back and was going to cook the fish and brought beers for share. Gave him more fish too as we were going back to Oahu. Super aloha neighbor islands. No more Aloha Oahu.

I just found your channel from watching other PNW Foragers, and I love you videos! I was born in Washington state and spent many years of my childhood there (foraging for Morels/Chanterelles/Boletes), but also lived in Maui for 3 years as a kid. Watching your PNW and Hawaii videos makes me reminisce and it's awesome! I live in Upstate NY now and forage here in my own woods as well as camp in the Adirondack Mountains...Let me know if you ever want to come forage in NY! I know some good spots to camp, fish, hike and forage :)

Who am I to turn that down! haha. Sounds awesome..you never know, maybe one of these days Ill hit you up if I swing by that way! And thank you for supporting my channel! That means a lot 💕

@BackcountryWahine Жыл бұрын
these are from the korean store. Theyre pretty cheap! Most of the korean stores carry them..maybe about 30 bucks or so? I think amazon has them too if you look up korean butane grill.
