About 6 years ago the Shop on Talbot Street O'Connell corner was beutiful in its window dressing for Christmas. There was different eras and l was amazed at the 70s One in particular... but that shop is closed now?

The street was named in 1821 after Charles Chetwynd-Talbot, 2nd Earl Talbot, Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, from 1817 to 1821.

I grew up in Dublin in the 70’s Talbot St and surrounding area were rough even back then. There wasn’t a migrant to be seen back then we Irish were all leaving. So you can’t blame all of Dublin violence and problems on migrants. Having Muslims attending a mosque in an area actually reduces crime. My point is there were always problems in that area in town.
