Brought to you in groovy technicolour, this is the funky-fly "FAVOURED NATIONS" - the lead track from Talbot White's "United States of Mind", the 1994 album put together by keyboard wizard Mick 'Mikey T' Talbot and heavyweight champion drummer Steve 'Boy' White - no less. Originally released by the finest record label ever to hail from Colney Hatch Lane, London N10 .......Yay, Boogie Back Records of course!

Due to a lack of consciousness I have just recently become aware of this funk. Who is the singer here? Any TSC connections? Obviously I know MERTON MICK, I was just not aware of TALBOT / WHITE efforts put forth. Oh yeah, I love this groove.

Ah, my mistake. It's Linda Muriel (BNH, Galliano etc). Camelle Hinds plays bass on some of the tracks but not this one

@siljaukena Totally agree about Mick's musical prowess. I have some fantastic footage of Mick with Galliano doing several tracks including "Jazz" - absolutely sublime. Will have to post them up some time. Thanks for the comment!
