Rohan Bro i Tried out the same and i am Getting Empty values for SCD2 with the same thing what you have acheived even the Status Column i didnt get as True or False am i missing something like the Data Type? Can you please help me in sorting or clearing this.

That’s not in scd component, you can do it using tmap with custom logic

Thank you Rohan for your videos? what is the purpose of staus_flag? we have end_date as null to identify the latest record, right?

Status will help us identify which record is active. If have 100 such updates and history is present then we can apply filter on this column to get the active / latest record

For scd type 3, we need to create all previous columns for the fields that changes frequently like if I have 100 columns in which 90 columns changes frequently. Should I need to create 90 _previous columns for that field. Thank you

Usually scd 3 is created for only couple of columns.. if there are more, then scd 2 will be preferred with some delete logic. Pls download my mobile app from talendpro.com
