Yep. For anyone who doubts that: go back and watch the tape of Carrie Underwood's performances as an 'Idol' contestant back in...what was it? 2005? Carrie was fine, she showed a lot of potential and everyone knew it. But was she better at that stage of her career than Abi is right now? No she was not. It isn't fair to compare Abi to someone who has been performing on stage for 20 years. But between her and 18-year-old Carrie, I think Abi wins. I'm very interested to see where she goes from here.

Abi is a good singer at the moment and not yet great vocal performer.. Abi's performance I heard shaky vibrato, sharps and flat.. and she's not yet found her own signature vocal sound that you can say oh that's Abi Carter.. she's still young and can more develop her vocal abilities in the future..
