Nope! The violin player is the tops. Marcy has a nice voice and a lot of people can sing both high and low. He has no depth in his range and his falsettos are not as good as they should be. If you wanna hear (and see) an example of someone who can sing in both high and low voice, with bass and depth and ... 6 OCTAVES ... type in Dimash Kudaibergen. If he were to appear on one of these talent shows, all of the other contestants would not even perform after they heard him. He is the best, by far. But ... hope the violin player wins, for sure. He is totally, totally awesome!

It's kind of hypocritical of Simon considering "We Are The Champions" was the song chosen for the last performance of the candidates for AGT CHAMPIONS. Every song Marcelito does, his voice takes on a different texture/nuance depending on who sang the song. And he does it beautifully. He's clearly not a one-trick-pony which Simon tried to paint him as. And I think people recognize this because it doesn't get old. His female voice on Beauty and the Beast was reminiscent of the original singer's. Here in We Are The Champions, he's singing in a tone of voice that's close to Freddie Mercury's. And he's not sacrificing technical stuff for it. His diction is not the best but boy does he know how to manage his voices when singing. Clearly AGT misjudged everything coz everyone knows America's "talent shows" are rigged. They're in it for the drama, the sensationalism, the viewership. They misjudged everything coz clearly, Marcelito is the people's champion.
