I felt the need to offer my thoughts on this entire series, as I find myself revisiting it many times. First and foremost, these are all wonderful and everyone did amazing on them. "Scaredy Engine" - I liked the angle on this one, taking a preexisting story and offering a new lens to it, creating context to the ghost engine of the episode, and I especially loved the scene from the end of Edward talking to her, which reminded me quite a bit of a similar encounter from the British Railway Stories episode "Fowler's Ghost." Perhaps directly inspired, or just a coincidence, but otherwise was a very nice touch. "The Killdane Experiment" - In spite of the shade thrown in-universe, I loved the direction of this story, and it feels like a chillingly plausible event that could happen, and took such a nothing ghost and turned them into something horrifying. "Pumping Engine" - Easily the most grim story, nice touch of having both Smudger and Stanley be canon in the same universe, and a rather demented end for Stanley. Easily much worse than him just decaying with the railway. "Witness" - A mortifying experience that digs into Oliver's past, and offers a firsthand encounter between him and an engine that was not so lucky, adding more context to his heroic escape to Sodor. Howard was a terribly sad character, but it was nice that he got to spend his last conscious moments with a friend in Oliver. "Spanner" - Another chillingly plausible story, taking advantage of a rather fascinating piece of diesel traction with a demented edge, a great use of Salty, and Splatter and Dodge, taking something as humorous as their combined name and throwing it for a loop, just great. "Smokeless Mainland" - Not so much scary, as heartbreakingly tragic. Allowing Thomas a chance to see what has become of the Mainland post dieselisation, and shows a very depressing, but sadly most likely, fate for Jinty and Pug. A very tragic experience for the best friends, and a phenomenal end for the storyline. In terms of my favorites, it's very hard to say, as I love most all of these almost equally, but if I had to say so? Probably a toss up between both "The Killdane Experiment" and "Smokeless Mainland." I love the angle on the Experiment, it's frighteningly plausible potentiality, and the use of the different characters. And Smokeless Mainland is very unique for the tragic edge it had, and yet again for taking advantage of very real elements to make it feel that much more legitimate. Great job to everyone involved, and I hope to hear from you again come next Halloween.

The Witness story with Oliver makes it more creepier personally as my dad's name was Howard who died this year and I was last to see him alive aswell. But great stories 22Tesla

Epic! A full compilation video on this year's Tales from the Scrape Siding. This has been one heck of a ride. Some of the stories I like. Some I don't like much, but still think they're good in their own way. These are fantastic in their own scary, dark, and/or sad way. Hopefully you make another one next year. God, at start when I heard "stone" i got flashbacks to Thomas and The Magic Railroad. Like the character Burnet Stone. He was my favourite other than the Engines.

Now that number 3 is right around the corner, I figured i'd express my thoughts on last year's stories. Scaredy Engines is a nice spin on a kind of "meh" episode. Love Stella's backstory and the end scene between her and Edward The Killdane Experiment is easily my favorite. The atmosphere is perfect for the story and Edward's reenactment of the Experiment's cries is chilling. All comes together for a beautiful spooky story. Pumping Engine is a close second purely for how grim it is. Stanley may not have fully deserved being converted into a pumping engine, but his murderous actions put him in the ground. Literally and figuratively. A horrid fate for a horrid soul. Witness is depressing. The worst part about Oliver watching Howard die in front of him is that he was only one of thousands. Countless engines lost to the cutter's torch. And many other engines had to watch from the sidelines. Spanner is one of the best "cautionary tale" stories the community has put out. The thought of stripping an engine's independence as a punishment makes the class 13 seem inhumane. And finally, Smokeless Mainland is a nice view into Thomas' psyche. The naivete to think that steam is forever only to be completely shattered by the sight of a half hazard graveyard. And Percy's maturity is pretty accurate considering how old he could be. That was a lot, but I'm excited for this year's stories and wanted to put that energy to use.

Was much more firmer than any other Express engine ever seen apparently the way she said it that's how you get coaches that behave this way in line vanny was an LMS k class 2-6-0 engine she could be harsh but then she could be harsh with coaches but with engines she's more kinder and good spirited but one boogie coach Elizabeth did not like Vinny's tires treatment towards her sisters she figured she was better than all the others and more vain and snobby than ever then all the others Savannah always put her in her place the one faithful day things would change for better or for worse one day Express had to made and vanny was told to lead it vanny was fired up and all the other agent said mind yourself with Elizabeth vanny but said this coaches who misbehave who think they are better will not be tolerated on my line not to worry yourself my dears I'll be just fine and with that vanny rolled off and that would be the last time anyone would ever see her alive vanny pulled into the station Elizabeth was appalled at this dirty Express engine would she be the one who was pulling the train the station Master said yes and also rolled his eyes come now Elizabeth you're literally rejected all the other engines vanny was the only one who actually wanted to do it so belt up Elizabeth had a better idea a very devilish idea vanny blew her whistle and rolled out of the station they will all went down the line and vanny was concentration on the signals looking for and they all said green and well everything was going fine but little today know vanny was going to die they all went up Gordon's Hill like so but at the bottom things would be different Elizabeth slammed on her brakes and Vanny was still chuffing and then the coupling snapped and then he was still going full speed down the hill she rounded the sharp curve and then her Wheels left the tracks she she went all the way down right through the Meadows right through the weeds right through her even a brick wall and then finally stopping into a demolition shed vanny exploded and there was nothing left Elizabeth and all the other coaches were shocked at this all except for Elizabeth that is what happens when you don't respect a coach and nothing was ever said but everyone knew the truth they all knew Elizabeth killed vanny nothing would ever be said until one night Elizabeth was hooked up to a midnight Express as she was waiting for the engine she did not know that the engine that she expected well there's something off about the engine to know the passengers ever thought of that the engine was an old LMS engine they couldn't tell because it was so dark or mostly because well they couldn't see they couldn't see because of the tender the train blew it whistle and then pulled out on the rounded a tunnel Elizabeth was gone and the next day every single member that was inside of Elizabeth was found sleeping on a station platform I want to explain it I won't understand it why there was no trace of Elizabeth or the engine up front people search up and down the line but nothing we ever came up how could a coach and an engine both disappeared the case was similar to afton's case and just like acting no one could ever find her and that was the end of the story well in this case basis was completely spellbound what happened to her no one really knows but some folks think they see an engine pulling a bogey coach behind it battered bruise others think because of the acting story it's similar to this the mind of my words an engine is not to be given lightly even in death they will get their revenge you mean to tell me this engine abused you no not abused my punishment for what happened what's your name Elizabeth then that's when the two coaches hold her a whistle any exact same engine that brought Elizabeth into the shed was backing up and that's when she saw it a name plate on her front tank it said vanny consider this your wake up call the engine said or vanny said young boy from earlier re coupled the coach and the engine and began to walk away but the boy turned the vanny and said you know I thought something like this only work for engine to abuse coaches my coaches who abuse engines I guess in this case I guess anything works after that the engine puffed away and the middle of the night it's been years since basis had her encounter with Elizabeth she's now a change coach she's more respectful the engines she only lashes them if they ever lash back I always takes quiet when everything goes wrong because she dare not toil with The wandering engine . So what do you think you like it or what
